Han used to live in Malaysia with his family. He went to International school there. And would ้have continue living there if he didn't become trainee. That's why his English is quite good.

Lee Know focused on learning Japanese instead, because everyone else was doing English, but the other members still praise him because when he needs to speak english he practices really hard. I don't speak Japanese but I've heard people say he talks it like he's fluent.

Seungmin speaks English really well too.He lived in la short period of time and his accent is like native speaker.

Han was raised in Malaysia, which is pretty much a colony of Britain (extremely simplified). Hence his British accent when he speaks English.

Seungmin speaks english really well.

Seungmin and Han are pretty much fluent imo. Seungmin especially is top tier, but i feel like Han is almost at fluent level too, definitely MUCH more than just basic English. Hyunjin is getting there, he makes a few mistakes but he's learning and has a really good level. (This vid is two years old, he's SO good in comparison to back then). Changbin has improved SO much, imo he's pretty good now and understands interview questions and Stays when they speak in English and is able to communicate what he wants to say even if it's not perfect. Innie and Minho are the ones that are least proficient with Innie slightly above Lino, but tbh Lino was like 'i'd rather help you guys out in Japanese bc the group already has a lot of members that speak English' which makes a lot of sense imo. He even straight up joked and told Seungmin and Felix, who often speak in Eng amongst each other, to speak in English in front of him 'cause he won't understand it anyway lmao. He's hilarious tbh. But is probably the best in the group at speaking Japanese alongside Chan (and Han, who learns languages really fast. He's just an ace at everything tbh, that man is a genius).

Felix and Chan are obviously fluent in English but Seungmin and Han are also both fluent. Hyunjin is also pretty good and is currently getting a degree in practical English. Changbin, IN, and Lee Know are all learning. Lee know doesn’t speak very much in English interviews but stays think he understands more than he lets on and he’s super good at Japanese

han grew up in malaysia and was mainly homeschooled but went to an international school for a short while. he had an english tutour from britain, which is why he has an english accent also seungmin and hyunjin both lived in america for a bit as kids so they picked quite a bit of english as well, especially seungmin 5/8 members of skz still take regular english classes (felix and chan obviously, and also lee know because he does japanese lessons instead)

Actually the video compiled most of their funny and iconic english phrases. But if you react to their interviews and such, Seungmin stands out, how he deliver and the flow is great. Even Aussie line said that Sungmin’s English is much great than them.

Han knows English really well because he spent a lot of years in Malaysia. Seungmin’s English is actually better than Han’s, but he spent some time in 4th grade in LA, and actively practices his English with Felix.

Since seungmin is your bias again, you should check out videos of him speaking english. He's fluent.

Lee know is mostly fluend in japanes, but hes trying his hardest to speak english, most when felix was learning his korean lee know tried his hardest to understand him and helped him learn korean

Chan and Felix are fluent in English because they grew up in Australia Han speaks English well because he grew up in Malaysia and went to an international school resulting in him having a British accent sneak through Hyunjin I believe had an English major and studied it throughout school Seungmin has very fluent and non broken English after spending some time in America. IN and Changbin speak broken English that typically has Korean mixed in Finally Lee Know is almost fluent in Japanese and Korean while working on English especially around the world tours. This is what I have heard but I am not sure if it is a hundred percent correct.

Lee Know knows a lot of English (understands pretty well) but isnt confident in his pronouciation and speaking it. Han's parents moved him to Malaysia when he was really young and he went to a primary school there where he learned English and then was home schooled. He flew back to Korea to take his exams (so he could graduate which was actually at age 15) and after striking a deal with his parents, managed to get an audition with JYP and made it in. Hyunjin lived in America for about 3 months i believe when he was young and went by the name Sam. I think Seungmin spent a short period in America too but i don't remember. Changbin and I.N have also significantly improved on their English and receive help from Felix and Chan (like everyone else tbh).

The baby photo thing. They (the interviewers) ran "Stray Kids" through Google Translate and did like 7 languages in a row. Korean to swedish to german to french, etc. Until they came back to Korean. (I dont remember the exact languages). When it got back to Korean, Stray Kids had changed to Baby Photo. The members had to guess what Baby Photo was originally.

Han went to school in Malaysia for awhile that’s why he’s can say basic words. That’s also where he almost got attacked by a crocodile 😊

So as of 2024 almost everyone in straykids understands english pretty well. Lee know does struggle to speak and understand a little! But he has definitely improved A LOT because they had to go on tour in 2022-2023 and even though there’s a translator lee know still made an effort to speak in English. As if for the rest of the members, changbin & I.N can understand more than they can speak, but honestly i’ve been recently impressed by changbin, he uses a lot of big words and the pronunciation is on point. And then we have fluent speakers who are hyunjin, seungmin, han, bangchan, felix. Yes hyunjin is fluent in my opinion, he doesn’t have a korean accent when he speaks, his vocabulary is pretty big, he can communicate and understand really well. And seungmin, i mean he’s our ‘american’ boy🤣🤣🤣 Han who learnt english in malaysia and is also fluent And ofc we have the aussie bros
