As a gun owner in the US, he just committed felony assault twice. Showing and threatening your firearm is a jail sentence. You can only pull it when your life feels threatened or justifiable. Second felony charge you can't pepper spray someone without cause its still assault. WTF is wrong with people trying too become famous.

Back in January I had a guy randomly approach me on my way back to my house, he punched me 3 times in the head for no reason, he then saw I had beers and proceeded to pull a knife out and said multiple times that he’s gonna stab and kill me if I didn’t give them to him. I handed them over and took those punches without giving him any trouble and once he walked off I went to my home to call the cops, I was only 15 steps away from it. He only spent 2 months in jail and now he’s back over here hanging out with gang members that live in my area. I fear for my life everyday, California doesn’t care about that traumatic experience because why did they let him go even after I testified in court. I’m now considered a snitch by people I don’t know here and I don’t leave my place. Sometimes doing the right thing f*cks you over, I wish I would’ve defended myself, I wish I would’ve had a weapon when it happened. All because I thought I was handling it the right way.
