To answer that guy in the top right. No Sylvanas isn't more powerful than the lich king. This is why the cinematic was too well received. However, there are explanations. Bolvar never completely the melding process so he is far weaker than Arthas was. Bolvar doesn't want to be the Lich King he just wants to keep the scourge in check. But he is still Bolvar, a new breed of undead that is immune to fire (big deal) and he still have the crown. So second thing to note... Sylvanas is juiced as f*ck on borrowed power from both Helya and The Jailer which allowed to her to beat The Lich King. This info is kinda hidden you really have to go looking for it and piece it together from the quests in Legion, and the short stories that were released on the site (they hid it because they new people would be pissed btw). Personally I think it would have been better if after Bolvar stands up it switch back to Sylvanas and she just said "let's make a deal" if it ended there and then it would have been far more interesting and much better received than the full cinematic we actually got. Of course there is something very wrong with a few key departments at blizzard right now, its quite obvious. I mean she doesn't get hit ONCE, she avoids a towering spike of saronite with a bloody side step, I'm surprised she didnt just flick it away with her pinky ffs. hahaha *sigh* But at least they trying to give us a reasonable explanation for it. I can understand why the hardcore OG fans are so annoyed. I mean they have been waiting to see this "new breed of Lich King" (to quote the great Metzen) and see what his angle really is... Everyone super hyped when Bolvar is shown... and not so hyped by the end of the cinematic LOL. I mean nope cares about Sylvanas over the lichking especially since BfA turned her from a top fan favourite to one of the most hated characters wow. BfA destroyed that character.

Funny how some streamers have no clue of the lore . "The lich king won her before why is he loosing" Well for every noob here fyi 1) this lich king is NOT Arthas its a diffrent lich king 2) The lich kings power comes mostly from the Frostmourne (the sword that has been destroyed) and also by its army . So yes this lich king is pretty much not even a match against sylvanas withour the Sword but even Arthas would loose at this point at a 1vs1 fight. 3) Sylvanas is almoat equal with Malfurion (and thats aloot trust me ) at this point she has NOTHING to do with the old sylvanas. U would know that if u had read the comics were she was chasing malfurion at teldrasil burning and she almost killed him in his natural habitat . Which means that she would had won if the fight was not in a forest were its a Druids best fight scene. Like what did u rly expect? This fake lick king has been afk sitting in a throne to win her? Im amazed he aint fat af tbh
