A lot of questions and hype floating around, so let me clarify: Pyromancer IS RETURNING to World of Warcraft to follow the new lore, check out The War Within when it releases, and maybe even play current retail to get caught up on what he's missed. However, he is NOT leaving Final Fantasy 14 - the story, world, and setting is every bit of Azeroth's equal, and he intends to continue his journey in Eorzea alongside his return to Azeroth. Thirdly, it has always been the case that he streams and speaks on the games he enjoys, which means that variety, one-offs, and other diversions will also continue. In his own words, for example, he plays more OSRS in his off stream hours than FF14 and WoW combined! That being said, there's obviously a lot of focus on World of Warcraft right now as we're all excited about these new announcements and the promise of the story moving in a healthier and more interesting direction. I would look forward to a lot more World of Warcraft content in the coming days, but I wouldn't be surprised to see gameplay and coverage of other titles as well. Whatever happens, you can be sure I will be here to bring it to KZfaq for those who are unable to watch it on stream live. Pyro may be releasing a video to speak on this more directly, but until then - thank you for the support, everyone! We love the WoW community AND the FF14 community! We're really excited at and grateful for the enthusiasm and can't wait to see you in Azeroth, Eitherys, and beyond. - Editor Jay

I remember Pyromancer doing extensive analysis on the lore and gameplay, down to small seemingly irrelevant items found all around WoW with texts, hints and clues. Putting two and two together, connecting the dots and explaining in detail what is going on. And all this was happening during Legion and Battle for azeroth. Great analysis, you were literally 5 years ahead. Somebody should hire you as an analyst.

What an incredible experience to see you outpour the emotions of YEARS of theorycrafting, to finally get the closest thing to confirmation possible. You read the tea leaves, read between the lines, understood the stories inside of the stories, and you were right. By God, YOU WERE RIGHT. It's been a hell of a journey all these years, and I can't wait to see you come home to see the conclusion of a story you poured so much into for so long.

I wonder if Anduin will have something to do with pulling Sargeras' sword out of the land. The cinematic seemed to focus for an extended amount of time on Anduin's sword pushed against Thrall's leather strap. Within that moment you see Anduin slowly pull his sword from Thrall. Thrall will help Anduin with this and help with his ptsd.

I have hope that this announcing the three expansions means they are commiting to story as a first party concern. Pause at 26:20. I'm pretty sure that is Kalimdor breaking apart starting from Silithus. The locations of the fissures are really interesting. Plus, if that is Kalimdor, what is that large mass near Feralas? You can also see the Maelstrom at the 2 o'clock position at 26:19 (another fissure appears there as well as to the south which I think is in Pandaria). Edit: Pausing at 26:21 you can make out an island that looks like that Isle of Thunder near that top of the text which is not far from the Pandaria fissure (aka probably Mohu'shan vaults). The fissures appear in several places where there are titan facilities as well as places that Old Gods were imprisoned. The Maelstrom fissure is probably the prison of N'zoth.) The one I personally find the most interesting is the fissure that is probably Terramok because that would prossibly tie in with the new allied race.

After Blizzcon I was searching around for "reaction" videos of Blizzcon and stumbled across this video. Its the first Pyro video I've ever seen. I loved how passionate he was about the game. I knew nothing of his previous work, "the rant", or his hiatus. I then started to go through his video history and watching his other lore theories. Then I learned about his hiatus, which also brought me to his rant video. I've since rewatched his more recent WoW videos with a new light. Now re-watching this video, everything seems 100% more impactful. Even watching his chat live when they say things like, "Chris is speaking directly to you Pyro...". Its all so cool! I'm glad the WoW community has him back, and I'm glad I've come across his video and can follow his theories to fruition over the next 3 expansions.
