The Strion® 2020 is the next evolution in the Strion® series and produces 1,200 lumens and 28,000 candela for long-range applications. It features independently functioning head and tail switches along with an intuitive mode select switch. Works with existing Strion® chargers.

Love my strion led, definitly excited to try this one and the protac 2.0 i see a lot of comments about the strobe, Id just like to say i like the strobe feature and how its accessible through double click, maybe an added program to disable for people that really have no use for it, other than that i wouldnt change it!

1,200 as a High is low compared to my Protac 2.0 and Stinger 2020. Let alone my Protac HL 5-X. 2,000 Lumens and 3,500 Lumens. But. 28,000 candela should prove good for a longer distance Beam, I hope. I'll buy 1. First Strion. Maybe Strions were never as powerful as the Protac line? Something new. I love the Design and Shape way more than the square Stinger anyways. So. Pros and Cons overall. Still worth a Purchase from my Flashlight Outlet 🔦

If this had an option for a lower low setting (for close-up work without washing out what you're looking at) and a way to disable the strobe it'd be perfect. Any way to program the light into high/low modes so you get 3+3 levels?

I think Stream Light has better options for you. Rather than this specific torch. I cant imagine going lower than 120 lumens on this Sized Light.

Other brands do that. Lesser known brands. Too many moving components and not as drop & water proof if they go that route.

The problem with aspheric zoomies is that a TIR or traditional reflector light is superior in every way unless you're trying to throw a pencil beam as far out as possible.

@@StreamlightTV oh hey, this was actually a pleasant surprise to see you reply 🙏🤝. And another feature that I think would be a big hit is a mechanical rheostat for infinitely variable output control. Olight and Nitecore have implemented something akin to what I'm suggesting, but a mechanical rheostat would be a hit feature I promise y'all that 👌

I would be inclined to upgrade to this new Strion if the strobe feature could be disabled via TEN-TAP programing!

I live to only use the High Strobe Low setting on all my Stream Lights. Silly to disable the Self Defense feature on a tactical torch "light"

The Strion 2020 uses a high capacity 3,400 mAh lithium ion battery that provides longer runtimes in each mode over other Strion batteries. The battery in the Strion 2020 has 25% more capacity. You can use the 2600 mAh Strion battery but will not get the quoted run times as per the product specs.
