Good videos refuting false doctrine. Just how did this belief begin? There has been found in a deep dive research a book “Who Really Wrote the Book of Mormon? Found in online used book sites possibly. Also view Wiki- Spalding-Rigdon theory of Book of Mormon authorship. Don’t give up if you want truth it is out there for you to find. Forward to book was by Walter Martin, noted author of “Kingdoms of the Cults”.

"Two blades of a scissors". Both are important. God's Grace and God's Works. Eph. 2:8-10. So wonderful is our God. The wages of sin is death, I've earned it, but Jesus paid my debt in full, it is finished. Rom. 6:23 and now I have the free gift of eternal life with the promise of fruitful good works that I get to do, not to merit the gift, but to do out of gratitude.

I agree with the Bible and I too am often on the streets sharing its truth and grace in conversations with the Mormon community. But can we please be intellectually honest and stop using the misrepresentation of the JS statements about the return of Jesus in our proclamation of God’s truth? As much as it sounds as if he made a firm 50-ish year prophecy on the return of Jesus, the actual statement is vague and has loopholes, which I believe were built in so that Joseph could not be wrong either way but may have appeared to be correct if Christ had come again in a certain timeframe. There are other ways he fails the test. The biggest of which is bringing a different gospel and preaching a different Jesus. I came out of Mormonism because I finally realized that the burden of works and rules and extra-Biblical ordinances had drawn a wedge between me and my right standing with God. It’s faith alone in grace alone through Christ alone. I pray we can do a better job with this. Thank you so much for being diligent in sharing the message of Jesus with a community I care for to see His truth the most! This is extremely important because there is a disproportionate amount of those who escaped Mormonism but then lose faith in God altogether and I especially lament for those who leave and lose Jesus. Let’s make sure they know there’s a better hope!

Yeah for sure! I also notice whenever false doctrine is confronted, they immediately want to get out of there. If your gospel is true wouldn’t you want to teach someone in these moments instead of being more concerned about the concert in the background. This is another way that I know 100% Mormonism is false. You can tell by the fruits they DONT produce. As a Christian, I never turn away someone who is asking honest questions. Regardless of what I have going on. The main elder here is clearly questioning what he believes and has moments of doubt but then the brainwashing brings him right back. No matter how uncomfortable, don’t stop teaching the lost the truth of the real God, Jesus & Holy Spirit of the Bible!

1. Is there only one god, or are there multiple gods? If multiple, how is a person to choose which deserves obedience? If there is only one good, who is Baal? If Baal is a false god, precisely what makes your god NOT false, aside from it telling you that is the case? 2. Would you agree that before anything can exist, something has to create it? Did your god create everything? If yes, who/what created your god? 3. Is your god infallible? 4. Is your god omnipotent? 5. Is your god omniscient? 6. Is your god benevolent, or malicious? 7. If your god cannot make mistakes, then it follows that everything it creates is either perfect, or that your god intentionally makes things that are flawed. Would a benevolent god intentionally create something likely to suffer because of its flaws? 8. If your god can do anything, and it created the universe, why didn't it simply create a perfect world inhabited by perfect beings? If your god wanted obedience, and god is not malicious, why did god make disobedience possible? 9. If your god knows everything, does it already understand every thought and feeling you have? Does it instantaneously know everything you say and do? If yes, what is the point of religious rituals, such as prayer? 10. Why would an omnipotent and omniscient god not communicate directly and unambiguously with individuals, with no need of books, churches, prophets, signs, miracles, etc? If a person is not intelligent enough, or not "worthy" enough to speak directly with god, whose fault is that? Who made the person in the first place? If a person is unworthy or incapable of directly communicating with god, how can that person be capable of recognizing a valid spokesperson for god? 11. Think about the person/people who convinced/persuaded/ordered you to believe in a version of god. Are they infallible? Is it at all possible for them to tell you something they sincerely believe, but for that thing they tell you to be actually incorrect? 12. Are feelings reliable tools to guide actions? Suppose I hear a person in my neighborhood talking a lot about the presence of violent break in robberies nearby, and I get apprehensive. I am convinced by the passion my neighbor puts into this story, even though I've seen no tangible evidence. That night, I hear a noise. I FEEL certain that it is a robber breaking in to harm my family. I get out of bed, pull a pistol from the bedside table. Without opening the bedroom door, I shoot through it to get the robber. When I open the door, there is my son, lying dead on the floor from my bullet. I was sure. I relied on my feelings. My fear of a robber. My hope of being a defender father. Feelings, not facts. Was that a good way to live my life? Is faith factual knowledge or is it just a feeling, something you choose to believe, without any rational proof? There are things science does not yet have good explanations for. However, unlike religion, logic and science eagerly accept doubt, challenges and skepticism, and are eager to be revised and improved. They don't claim to be perfect. Religion does. Religion demands blind obedience, with harsh horrific punishment in this world and the next if you fail to obey. If you ignore science, it doesn't change the facts of science, so no one has to threaten you about it. Science (reason) built the machine you are reading this message on. Religion blows up clinics and puts burning crosses on people's lawns. Religion persecutes and murders and starts centuries of war. Religion rapes little kids, then covers it up. Religion tells underage girls they have to get married and have kids like a farm animal slave. Religion is about ignorance and enslavement and threats and judging others for being different. Religion is about cowardly conformity. Religion is about keeping people UNquestioning and OBEDIENT, aka, slaves. Science (reason) is about rational independent thought. Are you brave enough, strong enough, to think for yourself and stand on your own, apart from others? 14. Do you deny that religion (superstition, irrational behavior) is the root cause of most human conflict in history, that for centuries millions have been tortured and murdered "because god told me to do it"? 13. Suppose a person has a book full of maps to guide a group journey. They rely upon it, but the group is perpetually lost. You question the book, but your friend insists that the book is accurate. "How do you know?" you ask. They reply, "I know that this book is accurate and perfect, because it says so in the book." Your friend insists that the book is information directly from god....but some other people wrote the book, based on their interpretations, and all of them disagree.....but that is okay, because of how passionately they shout about their version of the maps, and how strongly it makes your friend feel. When you show them hundreds of self contradictions in the book, they get upset and say that you are just not reading the book correctly. Which person is messed up? You, or the book fanatic? How do you justify cherry picking of which parts of the bible to follow? Leviticus much? Murdered and burned many animals as a sacrifice, as you are required to ? How many NON religious books have you ever read? 14. If the point is to die and go to heaven, why not simply commit mass suicide and get it over with? Christ was quite literally a kamikaze; is that what you preach should be emulated in daily life? 15. Why is it necessary to use superstition and irrationality to justify your practical principles? Why treat humans like a donkey in need of the stick of hell and the carrot of heaven? If you want positive secular behavior, why not justify that behavior in practical terms? Religion preys upon the weak and the stupid. Rationalization is not scholarship. If your god is so wise, so powerful, WHY is it so petty as to demand unconditional obedience? What kind of god would need much less DEMAND that we grovel and call ourselves unworthy? Unworthy? Who made you in the first place! If your god is so benevolent, and so omnipotent, why does it deliberately cause suffering? Why the grotesque elaborate torture scene of Jesus, when god could have simply changed the world in the blink of an eye, effortlessly? Oh, your god cannot be understood? Then HOW can you know it even exists? Where is your factual tangible irrefutable proof? Suppose I "believe" that you deserve to die and I am allowed by god to kill you. How are you feeling about faith NOW? Remember 9/11? They crashed those jets because of FAITH, because they believed religion that said they would die as martyrs. A debate over religion is exactly the same as debate between two inmates in an insane asylum over which voices in their heads are "real". IRRATIONALITY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. Wake up. FEELINGS ARE NOT TOOLS TO PERCEIVE REALITY OR GUIDE YOUR LIFE!

Before I begin, just want to say I love Mormons, used to be one myself, one of the nicest, kindest people I’ve known. Sadly, many are being deceived, but I do know most of them have very good intentions. About 10 years ago, my eyes were opened by the grace of God, probably because I was open minded & I sincerely wanted the truth. I was truly & genuinely searching for it. This particular truth that I’m about to share is just one of the MANY pieces of information that bothered me the most. Joseph Smith BOASTING he did more THAN JESUS?!😱 Joseph Smith said what?! “History of the Church”vol. 6, pg. 408-409 (starting at bottom page of 408) “I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.” ~Joseph Smith😱 I wonder if this is why they STOPPED printing these books, there are 7 books (vol).😳These were written by Joseph Smith himself!😳…And the Church decided to stop printing them? I think I know why they stopped printing these books, I think we all know why.🤔 I feel that it’s best to be honest with the members about the history of the church instead of hiding it, and try to delete it from history & even most of the time, Make excuses for it. I feel that’s incredibly deceptive!😔 I sincerely pray that more and more members of the church, and others in the world that are being deceived, or that are lost can open their eyes & their hearts & have a greater gift of discernment, and can have conviction in their hearts to know the truth & sincerely want the truth. And ultimately have the best & greatest relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ than they ever have before. That is my wish and that is my prayer. Please pray for the lost.🙏♥️ Praise Jesus! I take nothing from the biblical facts that Jesus is the Fathers son, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, walked in sign and wonders, has been resurrected, given all power and authority from the Father and that we must believe in the son for salvation as He is our way to the Father... But to say that Jesus is God in the same sense the Father is... The Bible doesn't support that idea. Please watch my video before blasting me. 12:30 They’re referring to D&C 130:14-17. In this passage, Joseph Smith shares that he once prayed to know when the 2nd coming will happen. God answers him by saying “if you live to be 85, you’ll see Jesus’s face, now don’t bother me with this question again.” Joseph Smith then goes on to comment that he wasn’t sure what to make of it. Whether it meant Jesus would come then, or that Joseph would die and go to Jesus. But it was his opinion that the 2nd coming won’t be until after Joseph’s 85th birthday, at least. So this isn’t even a prophecy. Joseph got an answer to his personal prayer that he didn’t fully understand, and he gave his opinion on it.

Which still wouldn't add up with scripture. Scripture says no man knows the day or hour, not even Jesus himself only God the father knows. Matthew 24:36 King James Version 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
@KnuttyEntertainment
@KnuttyEntertainment Жыл бұрын
This is consistent with that verse. The chapter summary for D&C 130 even says “The time of the Second Coming is withheld from the Prophet” Here’s the entire passage in question: “ I was once praying very earnestly to know the time of the coming of the Son of Man, when I heard a voice repeat the following: 15 Joseph, my son, if thou livest until thou art eighty-five years old, thou shalt see the face of the Son of Man; therefore let this suffice, and trouble me no more on this matter. 16 I was left thus, without being able to decide whether this coming referred to the beginning of the millennium or to some previous appearing, or whether I should die and thus see his face. 17 I believe the coming of the Son of Man will not be any sooner than that time.” So Joseph Smith did not know the day or hour, he didn’t even know the year. He was told that if he lived until age 85, he would see Jesus. This appearance doesn’t even have to be THE 2nd coming. It could be a regular appearance, it could just be what Joseph sees after his death, or any number of things.

He was so polite and I could feel he was hesitant on defending the Mormon church. He wanted to genuinely listen to Christians. When he said the about how he would know the book of Mormon isn't true... I felt like he had to convince himself. 😢 I pray that he will have his veil lifted and to see the truth. That Jesus Christ is the way. ❤

Its sad how watching this whole first bit the blonde man was feeling genuinely conflicted. Hes being spiritually confronted and you can see confusion dawn on him. The boy with black hair has been punched out the whole conversation, and then tries to bounce and get out of the talk. So sad.

At the end, that was definitely a priesthood authority getting the missionaries away from the conversation. Could've been a mission president but more likely a bishop or elder's quorum president. They don't want the missionaries speaking with "anti-Mormons".

If Mormonism is so true the missionaries should have been able to refute this evangelist easily with proof or scripture of some sort. The truth is that Mormonism is unbiblical and heretical in every way

Most Christians would also have failed if they debated an atheist. Truth comes in many colors, shapes and sizes. Mormonism teaches the Bible. They spend an entire year in 2022 teaching the Old Testament in Sunday School.

@@scottbrandon6244 Not entirely accurate. First of all, forget denominations. Is a Christian really a Christian if they haven't read God's Word? They can't be. They don't know him. They listen to a man who interprets for them once a week and hope they are saved. As far as LDS learning OT, it's like every other church. They learn snippets and dance around or move past what's uncomfortable to decipher or uncomfortable to their faith.

This is a sad excuse for what Mormans call "Elders". The term would mean (someone with knowledge/wisdom) yet the LDS church sends these young men and women out to teach against The World of God (Bible), and yet they cannot refute anything that the Word proclaims against Joseph Smith. They get Elder as a missionary title. They go out ages 18-26 so it has little to do with wisdom/knowledge. Females are called Sister for some reason.

The seed was planted, period. If he didn't want to receive (the Mormon) he would've left immediately. There's a reason he stayed. Bible says never to lean on your own understanding. The Bible IS the word of GOD, period.

I love Mormons! They're so amazing & truly have a heart for God, & to serve Him in righteousness. It breaks my heart-as it does with my Muslim friends-that because of the strong deception of satan- they aren't saved. 😞 Thank you, Apologia, for training these disciples of Christ to reach out & share The Gospel with these beautiful Mormon men. 🤗🙏

@@g.e.9977 No she really didn't. How do they have "a heart for God, and to serve Him in righteousness" when they don't have a heart for the God of scripture and they replace him with Joseph smith's god. We are talking about two different Gods here...Therefore it's idolatry and God hates idol worship. and He's a jealous God. You can't serve Him in righteousness when you surpress the truth about Him in unrighteousness. They have a heart for their false god. And worshipping a false god is worshipping satan

@@g.e.9977 I think what she meant is that they are very committed to their beliefs and to serving their god. I admire their dedication as well. However, I also recognize they are committed to a god that doesn't exist and you can't worship anything other than God in righteousness. That's the point I was making But I do understand what she seemed to be saying here

Bless you, Brother, for spreading the Gospel to these LDS elders. More Grace and Truth to you. Constructive Feedback: Give this young man some more time to speak and explain himself. Good challenge regarding Joseph Smith's prophecy, but if the blonde guy is accurate, then you got the "prophecy" wrong. Just admit it, rather than force the inaccuracy upon him. In all honesty, I don't know if he is accurate, or you are, just making the point to Fact-Check and admit to being wrong when wrong. Integrity matters and goes both ways.
