I love what the Lord is doing through you, and I've been watching your stuff. I fully believe in everything you are saying. I'm careful in prayer to reach out in saying this, so take it with a grain of salt and test it against scripture, but my only conviction I feel in watching this is that I want your heart not to be argumentative but rather to be slow to speak and quick to hear and be careful not to instigate anger but rather nurture the search for truth and provide what is needed to get it. If it goes into something where anger and frustration become the main motive for conversation, check your own heart and ask the Spirit for guidance. I'm praying for your ministry, I love your work! God bless you and your family, brother!

This guy is so hell bent and locked in to wanting to be a god who gets booty every day with multiple women for ever he doesn’t care. Just like Muslim men…..he’s looking forward to plowing all day and all night and running their own show. It’s all about materialism power and sex. Take eternal sex In unlimited amounts from Mormonism and Islam and there wouldn’t be any men entrenched in these sex cults. Just look how both treat their women. The state with the highest percentage of married women in long term therapy is Utah. Apparently they reject Ephesians 5.

Family, I could really use your prayers. I've gone through the book of Mormon sometime last year and it almost shipwrecked my faith, but praise the Lord for keeping me from the deception. But I bring this up because my grandmother and all the members on my mother's side of the family are Mormon. I've shown my grandma the false prophecies from Joseph Smith and the contradictions but she refuses to see it. And it's weird because when I showed them to her, she yelled at me, completely out of character for her. Something I've never seen her do, especially towards me. So please just pray that she comes to the truth that is in Jesus Christ. Thank you and God Bless. :)

@Ryker - Praying for you and your family brother. It can be exceedingly difficult more so with family members. Be prayerful, stay patient it is easy for us to forget this is indeed a spiritual battleground.” The natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned “ 1 Corinthians 2:14. I recommend “ Is the mormon my Brother “ authored by Dr. James R. White. They must be challenged by the Word of God and Dr White is an exceptional Bible Scholar. He navigates through the Mormon arguments and destroys them with the Truth of Gods Word. Above all my friend “ In your heart honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect “ 1 Peter 3:15. Blessings!

The main thing you can do is pray for them, and provide scripture to any objection she has. The easiest is to illustrate that the God she worships is not the God of the Bible. The bible specifically says Jesus has always been, he was in the beginning with God, and nothing that has been created was created outside of God. Mormons believe that God isn't the only God, they believe in 3. They believe that Jesus was the brother of satan, and that he was created. Completely the opposite of the Bible. The first thing is to illustrate to them that, even though they THINK they are christians, they have been misled. There is no question that their "Jesus" is not the Jesus of the Bible. And they need to realize that, because their soul is at stake.

Wanna hear a bizarre truth? You can use their own scriptures to prove them wrong about Joseph Smith's teachings. He is a stronger testament of The Word because even through all his twisted teachings, the Mormon scriptures claim God as all eternal, Alpha and Omega, even Jesus Christ and God identifies himself as Christ. Literally no doubt about it. D&C 19:1-3,18 D&C 39:1-6. There's plenty more. The Word never changes

It's very easy to prove them wrong. On the cover of the book of Mormon it says "Another Gospel of Jesus Christ", and in Galatians chapter 1 it blatantly says reject any other Gospel, also it says do not add to or take away from in Deuteronomy chapter 4 vs 2. So right there we have 2 instances that clearly show that you should not listen to that garbage.

@@grayman7208 if that's what you think Pastor Jeff said, you were probably not listening. He never said Mormons claim to be saved by works alone. Have you read Romans 1-4? The Apostle Paul completely pulverizes the theology of anything outside of grace and faith in Jesus Christ alone. No works at all. He says it over and over again. HomesliceDrummer The 1830 edition of the book of mormon doesn’t in fact ...it was trinitarian in outlook but by 1838 Smith had added whole words to the text to separate Christ and God as separate beings. This was to line up with with his 1838 version of the so called first vision. In the 1832 version of the so called first vision he cites only seeing Christ but by 1838 he sees Christ AND God the Father....I know I know....just a SMALL detail to leave that out and believe you me we know mormons perform serious word gymnastics to get around that one. Smith just made it up as he went along and got more bold as his cult status grew culminating with those hashed up so called ordinances he plagiarised from the free masons. I mean...what a hack!!! nonsense. Matthew 7:16-20 "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 16:27 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works." Acts 10:35 "But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him." Romans 2:13 "For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 "Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." James 1:22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." James 2: 14-26 "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 4:17 "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." Revelations 20:12 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." it is YOU sir that does not understand " faith without works is dead. Brother Jeff Durbin is simply pushing "Biblical supremacy" which is not necessarily the truth! What is the truth? The truth is/are the facts correctly interpreted! Do the facts support faith alone (Sola fide)? No, not at all! The apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) was both an apostle of the Lord and a heretic who preached an erroneous doctrine which was a different gospel (of "faith alone") that our Lord and Savior even Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) did not support! Some of Paul's greatest errors include NOT quoting the Lord in support of his erroneous doctrine of faith alone (sola fide), and not writing a comprehensive biography about Jesus (including his life, his times, his ministry (27 - 34), and his philosophy and theology) even though it was Jesus who gave Paul his calling to the apostleship in 35 A.D.!

Awesome video Jeff. I'm so thankful for a solid pastor who is walking the streets preaching with loving kindness to the LDS. And right in their own backyard! I grew up LDS and was finally saved by God's grace about 2.5 years ago, along with my husband, after I had been away from the LDS church for over 10 years. So thankful God opened our eyes to His truth! Your videos have given me courage to share the good news with these lost people. I met a young LDS woman yesterday and briefly spoke to her. Hoping to share the gospel with her next time we meet :) Please pray for me.

You are wrong. Jeff is trying to make it so easy. You cannot just believe. Actions my beloved brothers and sisters. Jeff is a liar. A false Prophet. The Bible and BOM are another Testament of Jesus Christ. The Bible was on one side of the world. The BOM was written by people that lived in the Americas. The ancestors to Native Americans. Did you ever wonder were Indians descended from...the Nephites and Lamanites in the BOM. God left the most untranslated book for the last days...the BOM. But both the Bible and BOM are sacred to us!! We read them both!!

Who said it was easy?? He never claimed it was easy, Ephesians 2:For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork,created in Christ Jesus to do good works,which God prepared in advance for us to do. How can anyone know if you have living faith or death faith? James 2: 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. It simply saying if you truly have faith, your works will show it, but if you have no works, and you say you have faith, it comes down too, do you really have faith, is it alive? The Bible teaches we are justified only by faith apart from works. We don’t do works because we’re trying to win Gods approval, or try to “make it” Or to obtain eternal life. The works that flows from us is the result of our faith in God, our heart has been renewed. The Book of Mormon literary goes against everything that Bible teaches.. And I mean this in respect.

Go read the Book of Mormon and tell me what you’re reading is not from God himself. You’re telling me that the Mormonism is all a lie? That the Book of Mormon isn’t another testament of Jesus Christ. I can tell you right now if you go and read the Book of Mormon. I mean actually read it like you were to read the Bible. I used to watch this show in the past as well. I saw a video of a man who have a channel called Wisdom and Understanding and he has just about a 49 min video testimony of Hell and he mentions a demon he saw in Hell that was a cartoon character he knew of if you wanted to ever see that in his video I would say the 20 min to 40 min mark should cover that up I wanna say a good amount. Are we saved by works or faith ? We are saved solely by the grace of Jesus Christ through faith. Works are the result of faith because we believe in Christ. Our works are justified after our faith through grace is exercised, otherwise, Paul and James would contradict each other in their scriptural revelations ? The root of the tree is grace through faith on Christ Jesus and the fruit of the tree is works.
@DarrelSimon
@DarrelSimon 4 жыл бұрын
You need BOTH faith AND works in order to obtain salvation! We are saved by his grace and atonement ALONG with our own faith and works! The gospel is simply put "the good news" about the life and ministry of our Lord and Savior even Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) in that the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) had died for our sins, and that he was buried, and that he was raised from the dead on the third (3rd) day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15: 1 - 58). The gospel is simply the good news that the wrath of Jehovah God is coming against sinners, BUT we can all live forever (with eternal life and eternal youth) in the Kingdom of God (to come) IF we reconcile ourselves with our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) BY having belief and faith in Him and His only begotten son Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) AND/PLUS we both the acts and works that prove that our faith is genuine AND/PLUS the grace and atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ who had died for our sins, and that he was buried, and that he was raised from the dead! The Mosaic Law of 1513 B.C. was simply a list of six hundred and thirteen (613) commandments that Jehovah God gave to the Israelites through the prophet Moses Levi (1593 B.C. - 1473 B.C.) in order for them to prove through their works and acts (by following these six hundred and thirteen (613) commandments) that their faith in their God whom is our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) was genuine! Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) simply modified and simplified (Jeremiah 31: 31 - 34) this covenant by having true Christians (his followers) follow just two (2) commandments (Deuteronomy 6: 4, Leviticus: 17 - 18): LOVE GOD and LOVE YOUR FELLOW HUMAN BEING. It is only through our works and acts (by following just these two (2) commandments) that we can prove that our faith in God through His only begotten son is real. It's a very simple equation: our faith in God through His son PLUS our works and acts PLUS the grace and atonement of Jesus Christ (Proverbs 27: 11) EQUALS our salvation. If you want to live forever and ever with eternal life and eternal youth and if you want to be reunited with your loved ones (including both family and friends) in the Blessed Hereafter, then you will have to follow the commandment of the Messiah (John 13: 31 - 35, John 14: 15 - 18, John 15: 9 - 17)!

JST Luke 23: 1 - 57 (26 - 44, 40 - 44) Yes, BUT ONLY if he can do an act or a work to show that his faith in Jehovah God through Christ Jesus is genuine. So what work did the highway robber do? Believe! Faith is an act! To believe is a work! You must do an act or a work to show that your faith is genuine or your faith is not real! Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (6 - 7) and James 2: 1 - 26 (14 - 26). Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (6 - 7) James 2: 1 - 26 (14 - 26) JST Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (6 - 7) JST James 2: 1 - 25 (14 - 25). Faith and Works along with grace and atonement saves all! So is the confessing sinner (highway robber bandit) crucified next to our Lord saved (Luke 23: 1 - 56 (26 - 43, 39 - 43))? So always remember my friends and fellow Christian that the ONLY way that one can prove their faith is through their acts and works! That is why both faith and works and Christ's atonement leads to salvation (Ecclesiastes 12: 9 - 14 (13 - 14)), and that word of wisdom comes from King Solomon Judah (1000 B.C. - 922 B.C.), the second smartest man who ever lived (1 Kings 3: 1 - 28 (1 - 15), 2 Chronicles 1: 1 - 17 (1 - 12))!

@Jason Wallace Not so, the apostle James Judah (10 B.C. - 69 A.D.) had a VERY different view of salvation from that of the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67)! Martin Luther is exactly how the Pope Leo X (Giovanni di Lorenzo de' Medici) (1475 - 1521) had accurately described him: a heretic who incorrectly preached the heretical doctrine of faith alone (Sola fide). Heresy is any incorrect belief or erroneous theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs, and a heretic is a proponent of such claims or beliefs. In this case, the erroneous doctrine of faith alone is contradicted by both the prophet Isaiah Levi (780 B.C. - 700 B.C.) (who argued that works without faith is dead) and the apostle James Judah (10 B.C. - 69 A.D.) (who argued that faith without works is dead): Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (1 - 7, 6 - 7) James 2: 1 - 26 (14 - 26) JST Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (1 - 7, 6 - 7) JST James 2: 1 - 25 (14 - 25) I would caution all Christians to beware of the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) and his opinions as misunderstood by Martin Luther (Hans Luder Ludher) (1483 - 1546), Jehan Cauvin (John Calvin) (1509 - 1564), Huldrych "Ulrich" Zwingli (Huldrychus Zwinglius) (1484 - 1531), and others: 1 Timothy 2: 1 - 15 (11 - 12) JST 1 Timothy 2: 1 - 15 (11 - 12) Even the apostle Peter (Simon Bar-Jonah) (10 B.C. - 67 A.D.) the first (1st) Pope-President of the Church has warned us of that truth: 2 Peter 3: 1 - 18 (14 - 16) JST 2 Peter 3: 1 - 18 (14 - 16) The Mormon-Latter Day Saint Christians, like the Jehovah's Witness Christians (whom both believe that our faith plus our works (acts) plus Christ's atonement (grace) equals eternal salvation), are as true a Christian as any other Christian out there. I would caution all Christians to beware of the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) and his opinions as misunderstood by Martin Luther (Hans Luder Ludher) (1483 - 1546), Jehan Cauvin (John Calvin) (1509 - 1564), Huldrych "Ulrich" Zwingli (Huldrychus Zwinglius) (1484 - 1531), and others: 1 Timothy 2: 1 - 15 (11 - 12) JST 1 Timothy 2: 1 - 15 (11 - 12) Even the apostle Peter (Simon Bar-Jonah) (10 B.C. - 67 A.D.), the first (1st) Pope-President of the Church, has warned us of that truth: 2 Peter 3: 1 - 18 (14 - 16) JST 2 Peter 3: 1 - 18 (14 - 16) In this case, the erroneous doctrine of faith alone is contradicted by both the prophet Isaiah Levi (780 B.C. - 700 B.C.) (who argued that works without faith is dead) and the apostle James Judah (10 B.C. - 69 A.D.) (who argued that faith without works is dead): Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (1 - 7, 6 - 7) James 2: 1 - 26 (14 - 26) JST Isaiah 64: 1 - 12 (1 - 7, 6 - 7) JST James 2: 1 - 25 (14 - 25) Our fellow Protestant Christians in Christ Jesus should learn to both beware and to be very wary of the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) and his opinions. The word of God is/are only the words coming out of the mouth of our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) and perhaps out of the mouth of His only begotten son Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.), and from no one else. Unless the apostle Paul is directly quoting something that the Lord (either God or His son) has directly spoken to him about, then the apostle Paul is simply giving the readers of his letters, sermons, and epistles Paul's own personal opinions and nothing more. This principle applies to words coming out of God's own mouth and NOT from the mouth of anybody else (including the apostle Paul of Tarsus (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67)) (2 Timothy 3: 1 - 17 (10 - 17, 14 - 17, 16 - 17))! JST 2 Timothy 3: 1 - 17 (10 - 17, 14 - 17, 16 - 17) One will note that in most of the sections of the Doctrine and Covenants-the Book of Commandments (D&C) (1833 - ) (in both the LDS and RLDS-CoC versions) that the prophet Joseph Smith Junior (1805 - 1844) and others (including the prophet Joseph Smith III (1832 - 1914)) are directly quoting something that the Lord (either Jehovah God or His son) is stating to them directly. Folks are free to quote from the apostle Paul to their own heart's content, but the principal difference between the letters, sermons, and epistles of the apostle Paul and the sections found in the Doctrine and Covenants is that the letters, sermons, and epistles of the apostle Paul are the words directly spoken by the apostle Paul and the sections found in the Doctrine and Covenants are the words spoken directly by the Lord (either our Heavenly Father or His son). The second (2nd) smartest man who ever lived was King Solomon Judah (1000 B.C. - 922 B.C.) and his wisdom came from our Heavenly Father Jehovah God: 1 Kings 3: 1 - 28 (1 - 15) 2 Chronicles 1: 1 - 17 ( 1 - 12) King Solomon was far smarter than the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) and King Solomon's wisdom also came from our Heavenly Father, and after considering all things, the wise King Solomon maintained that it was faith and works and not faith alone that will bring about a good judgment from Jehovah God. Ecclesiastes 12: 9 - 14 (13 - 14) 13.) Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14.) For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. The principle of faith and works is fully supported by our Lord and Savior even Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father even Jehovah God! John 13: 31 - 38 (34 - 35) John 14: 1 - 31 (15 - 31, 15) John 15: 1 - 27 (1 - 17, 9 - 17) The idea of one being saved by GRACE (or FAITH) alone WITHOUT ANY WORKS OR ACTS is a HERESY perpetrated by the OPINIONS of the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) as expressed in Paul's letters and epistles. Paul IS NOT quoting any word directly coming from Jehovah God's mouth (Yahweh Elohim Allah) or from the mouth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.). These Biblical quotes are Paul's own OPINIONS and they are NOT shared by either our Heavenly Father Jehovah God Himself or His only begotten son Jesus Christ. Jesus himself stated that both faith and works are EQUALLY important: Matthew 22: 34 - 40 (39 - 40) Mark 12: 28 - 34 (31) Luke 10: 25 - 37 (25 - 28) You will note that when Jesus was asked "Which is the greatest commandment?" he quoted two (2) commandments and not one (1) commandment that one must follow to in order to gain everlasting life: Deuteronomy 6: 4 - 5 (5) Leviticus 19: 17 - 18 (18) When someone once asked Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" our Lord and Savior had told the young ruler to do a work (an act) in order to gain eternal life (salvation): Matthew 19: 1 - 30 (16 - 30, 16 - 22) Mark 10: 1 - 52 (17 - 30, 17 - 22) Luke 10: 1 - 42 (25 - 37, 25 - 28) Luke 18: 1 - 43 (18 - 30, 18 - 23) Luke 19: 1 - 48 (1 - 10)

@Jason Wallace The Lord knows that we don't speak Greek and he also knows that we don't use Greek Bibles either! Can you show me ANY English language translation of the Holy Scriptures of the Bible where the apostle James speaks of one needing only faith to be saved (James 2: 1 - 26)? So is the confessing sinner (highway robber bandit) crucified next to our Lord saved (Luke 23: 1 - 56 (26 - 43, 39 - 43))? @Jason Wallace No, you're both ignorant and arrogant, because all you need to do is to read good English! You don't need to place your head in a hat, but you do need to pull your head out of your rear end and read English! Besides, like a typical ignorant and arrogant Protestant, you have NOT responded to my original answer! Even the theologian James Robert White (1962 - ) says that there are plenty of good English language translations of the Holy Scriptures of the Bible! So my point remains: the Lord knows that we don't speak Greek and he also knows that we don't use Greek Bibles either! Can you show me ANY English language translation of the Holy Scriptures of the Bible where the apostle James speaks of one needing only faith to be saved (James 2: 1 - 26)?

I just finished watching this video for the first time. Well...If I'd ever been a Mormon prior to watching this, my eyes would've had to be opened here to see that Mormonism teaches a false doctrine. It was completely refuted here. The Mormon showed he wasn't willing to actually listen closely to everything being said to him. He held on to his presuppositions and closed his ears completely to everything that disclosed the flaws in his belief system. Hopefully, the man has seen this video and watched it enough times to recognize the precise refutations of Mormonism. The video reflects that Jeff was actually listening to everything he said; he provided perfect responses to everything. I think the other guy was so busy thinking about what he wanted to say about his beliefs that he couldn't hear what was being said to him. It was pretty obvious that the other guy was just trying to use what had been taught to him by others, as he used passages of Scripture out of context, and man was he adamant about only reading a particular verse by itself, without any of its accompanying context. He wanted to take the Bible and cut out passages here and there and have you only look at the pieces he cut out so that he could try to make the Bible say what he wanted it to say. And he had the audacity to claim Jeff was doing the same when he was simply trying to read the Bible so the guy could see what it all says. The Mormon only knew the passages that he'd been taught to memorize for certain debates, but that didn't work out so well for him. May God take out that man's heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh.
