Wow, talk about a bombshell. Recently, Capcom surprised Street Fighter 5 fans with news of another season of DLC.
So many of us thought that Street Fighter 5 had wrapped up, but not according to Capcom.
As announced, Season 5 will introduce more characters to the entry as well as three new stages.
To accompany the update, Capcom has announced a costume contest that will allow fans to submit art of the 40 characters for a chance of having their costume design in the game.
Due to the success of Season 4’s sales, this game was given an extension upon its expiration.
Capcom has officially labeled this season of DLC as, “Season V,” the last season of DLC for the game.
Considering that, it begs the question of how Capcom intends to blow fans away one final time with Street Fighter 5?

You're the first person that I've seen who actually wants El Fuerte back lol. I'd love for the Halfpipe stage from USF4 to return. That was one of my favorite stages.

I also agree about Eagle. He's one of the few SF1 characters that's not Ryu, Ken or Sagat to be playable in later games. However the only ones where he was playable was Capcom vs SNK 2(which is a crossover) and the portable version of Alpha 3(which isn't even canon). It would also be nice if they'd establish either a friendship or a rivalry with him and Birdie since they're both British and are both named after golf terms. My other choices would be Oro as he's another character that wasn't in SF4 and has appeared in several other character's stories. C.Viper who also appeared in several stories and would go well with the V-system. Sodom who also hasn't been playable since before SF4 and in fact is the only Alpha character not to be playable in either SF4 or SF5. Not counting any of the dolls or Maki since she was only in the portable version of Alpha 3. Though I know SSF2 purists will be fuming if the rest of that cast doesn't get in, because they have this mentality that just because that's a classic, it means that all of it's characters have to be in EVERY SINGLE game.

I don’t know who this Eagle character is, but his Escrima (stick fighting) moves made him appealing to me. Thanks for the video.

Definitely! He has only appeared in three games, so I don't blame you. If he hadn't appeared in CvS2, there's no telling how much more obscure he would be.

My theory is that street fighter 6 was originally going to be revealed at e3 2020 but because e3 got canceled they delayed the announcement and in order to hold fans over they decided to make one season. Working on characters for an already existing game is easier to do at home than to make a whole new game.

So in another video I saw we got this rumour that the five DLC characters are Elena, Rose, C. Viper, Oro and Rolento. If this rumour is true then I guess they are probably saving characters like Makoto for Street Fighter 6. I think that would be a good tactic considering that she is the second most voted character from that poll. So that would make fans have more reason to get SF6.

We already know who the fighters will be dude. The guy who leaked the evo reveal said: Viper, Oro, Rose, Rolento, Elena. They were the 5 characters that were not in SFV in the tarot cards of the 30th anniversary. Check out vesperarcade's video. It makes perfect sense.

I might check it out. I usually try to steer away from rumors. I don't know when those rumors became known. I wrote the script to this video a day after the Season 5 announcement.

I respect that. I'd love to see her in a crossover more, but I wouldn't mind seeing her come back. She came back from being cancelled one time, and she needs to stay.

@@roscodantethefightinggamen7939 She's regarded as a Street Fighter character more than a crossover character I know she's not liked by many cause she is a powerhouse house character and the most powerful character of the franchise but them hating on that is stupid Yoshinori Ono said if she comes back she got to go through changes.

To me, it's like how Atlus views and treats the Persona games that aren't 3, 4, and 5. They either think people would not find them interesting, they don't find them interesting, or both. The characters have fairly simple designs in comparison to most of the current cast, and they aren't as demanded as the countless other characters. That's just my guess.

@@roscodantethefightinggamen7939 Capcom had all the time to make them playable in Street Fighter ll or the Alpha series and the design can change and majority of the characters been having the same designs for the past 20-30 years Street Fighter V just now decided to switch up characters designs finally instead of them keep wearing the same attires every game.

Rose, C. Viper, Elena, Rolento and Oro are allegedly the 5 DLC characters coming to Street Fighter V but I would Keep Rose and C. Viper and put Dudley, Guy and Sodom as the other 3 characters I save Oro for VI Elena and Rolento had their time to shine already.

Now that you've mentioned it, Akuma did try to put him down. When it comes to characters' deaths, I don't trust Capcom at all to keep them that way.

@@roscodantethefightinggamen7939 I think he's dead if he's not this be the second time he survive Akuma's finishing blow and he was already dying as is cause he was sick but if Gen return it be nice to see him playable.
