On the topic of sf6's main character: personally, i think Luke is more of a mascot or gateway representative for the new generation, but Ryu or any of the previous main characters, (Ed, Alex, Abel) are much better characters to move the timeline forward, no hate to Luke but he's just a gen z bro with no other story qualities really, whereas Ed has Neo shadaloo, Alex was chosen by the illuminati and Abel had some mysterious connection to seth and bison. All far more interesting story arcs than Luke just liking fighting. I know Ryu liked fighting, but it was almost all consuming for him. He travelled the world, met interesting people, and changed the world everywhere he went. Not only that, but he learned how to conquer his inner demons. This depth is why Ryu worked, and Luke just doesn't. Luke's already super strong and has no need to explore and grow, but all the other previous main characters, besides Rashid, have some unturned stones left in their path.

Ryu is actually strong af imo, I can get seriously messed up by good ryus but I don’t want him nerfed, he should be strong, he’s supposed to be one of the greatest warriors ever

the difference between bison and luke is bison needs a bomb to do his damage and has weak defense while luke is good at literally everything and can do his best damage off simple whiff punishes, youre never gonna get hit with bisons 8k combos often but getting erased by s1 luke was much more common

Please Fix Guile Spinning backfits to hit on crouching opponents. It’s a useless move because everyone crouching and is super slow! make it like sf4

That's why you do it after a projectile, dude... most opponents will try to parry Guile's booms to avoid drive gauge chip, which forces their character into a standing parry animation. You then do Guile's 6HP right as the sonic boom hits to create a true block string and bam. You now have your plus frames. The move is only useless if used wrong.

OD amnesia isn't fully invuln.. Lol.. It loses to projectiles. You also had to commit twice (once for the counter and again for them to trigger for JP to get that 60%) Though i agree the damage was a little crazy. He also was cashing out to get that kind of damage. That being said Amnesia is in a fine state now. Good utility move. Also yeah his cr.Hp lost aa invinc. Was from frame 6 to something IIRC. Now it just has a vertical disjoint which serves its aa capability. Ironic thing is people bitched about Jp cr fierce being the god AA normal but what they dont know is blankas is better than that (b.mk). More disjoint, Aa invinc from frame 4 onward. With a character that has a dp (up ball) air throw, super all to aa u with anyway.

They do need some buffs they suffer in neutral alot and mainly manon but even Kimberly don't really get alot from the system mechanics especially with the light scaling nerf.

If you think playing against Manon or Kim is bad try playing AS them. I get that they can be irritating if you don't know what to do but they're also super irritating to play as soon as you get out of the scrubs who don't know how to block low.

Manon is like King in Tekken 8. Scoops low ranked players but useless in high level play.
