It's such a shame we never got a Capcom vs SNK 3, a 70+ character roster would've been unfathomably incredible. There's MUGEN but it's always been an unbalanced janky fangame.@@odracircomix7359

I wish Capcom would reboot some of the lost/forgotten characters. Ingrid's design is so nice, it's such a tragedy to waste it. I always liked Q as well, but the main issue with them was their bad moveset and slowness, which I think is what would need to be rebooted.

This game woukd be perfect with a 2x2 system and same mechanics as classic Marvel vs Capcom (dame speed, combo system and speed).

MAX actually has a tag system called Variable Battle mode, but I'm not sure if both players can have 2 players to tag in and out or if it's just one player and they team 2 characters against their opponents' 1 character since MAX only has a network vs mode since it's a handheld console.

@@OttoniSaulo Ryu Shin Yassai de Fei Long (funciona assim: as chamas tocam no oponente e surge uma sequência de golpes que termina com voadora) e Shin Shoryuken do Ryu (quando Ryu dá uma cotovelada de leve no oponente, dá mais 2 golpes e termina com Shoryuken, causando mais dano que o Metsu. Eu até executei esse golpe e funcionou. Na versão Hyper do SFA, o Shin Shoryuken no estilo S-ISM é o mesmo no jogo Street Fighter III)

@@luchloe540 tá, mas isso é um extra do Zero 3 da Alpha Anthology, que só existe no PS2, e esse extra do libera depois que vc termina o outro extra. Tem que zerar o Z3 pra liberar o modo Upper e terminar esse pra liberar o Hyper. Não é essa versão que tá no vídeo, inclusive pq na versão da Antologia não tem os personagens extras do Upper (Maki, Eagle, YY).

Fei Long's level 3 too where if you land the punch at the furthest distance, Fei Long does an additional 5 hits during the super

Maki, Yun and Eagle's sprites were carried over directly from Capcom vs SNK 2 which was designed around the Sega NAOMI board that allowed for slightly higher resolution sprites. Ingrid's pixel art character was designed by a former SNK artist who joined Capcom in the early 2000's so that's why she looks much more like a SNK King of Fighters character.

I'm divided between PSP version and PlayStation 2 version (Street Fighter Alpha Anthology). I mean, Ingrid (I like Ingrid, say anything you want) or Shadaloo-ISM? 🤣 GBA version? Only three lame endings...

My two problems: • What the PSP truly needed was Alpha Anthology, not just Alpha 3 with "MAX" slapped on the title. • Eagle, Ingrid, Maki, and Yun added to Alpha 3 made no sense, their sprites look out of place and it caused plot-holes and continuity errors for the plot. (They should've been added to the PS and Xbox versions of 3rd Strike instead).

Maki appeared in the Alpha 2 manga adaptation, which has confirmed to be series canon in the Street Fighter 4 games. In addition, Sakura and Maki do appear alongside each other in a flashback Ryu has in Street Fighter 6, and Ingrid makes 2 cameos in Street Fighter 5. Also, "plot-holes and continuity errors for the plot?" This is Street Fighter - a school girl and a US martial arts champion blew up an entire city block with energy projectiles.

@@GlitchanBlack In Alpha's official artwork, Eagle looked the same as he did in SF1 and Maki looked the same as she did in FF2. How they both looked in CvS2, their appearances obviously matured and got modernized, they wouldn't look like that in Alpha 3. Alpha 3 takes place in 1989, and Yun & Yang were born in the late-1970s, shouldn't they be little boys? Ingrid is an eternal goddess, her story is different but for Alpha 3… Two school girl fighters are enough. Street Fighter still has to make sense, continuity wise and not fantasy wise.
