Row, natural & unedited video love it.👍 The cafe is a bit crowded with a lot of cues. & Paying 50 Ethiopian Birr for a cup of macchiato and snacks shows me how hard life is becoming and the purchasing power of our money is weakening from time to time. otherwise I love your vlogging style and your absolute freedom as always. Thank you for your time and effort 🌻✨🧡

Its happening everywhere sadly.. We are feeling it also here in South Africa and in many parts of the world.. I read about it all the time on the internet . Food prices have gone up so badly in the past three years.. You have to plan very carefully when going shopping or else life becomes even harder.. Strange, Food is better affordable in places like Russia and there is a war going on there..

@@dochere-bolelwang I agrée with you food prices have gone up even here in my neck of the woods in Southeast Asia.

Thank you for uploading this video and introducing us to street food in Addis Ababa. There is no doubt that the streets of this city are vibrant and bustling with life, offering a variety of delicious and fresh foods accessible to everyone. I would like to suggest that you make a video about: 1-Fresh juice drinks and how they are made by visiting one or more fresh juice shops. These shops usually have a beautiful display of various fruits at the front, and inside, they serve fresh juices in a unique way that I haven't seen in any other country. The juices are not diluted with water and are eaten with a spoon. For example, if you have an avocado juice, it's like eating an avocado meal. I hope the video will explore how to make such a unique juice. 2- the Ethiopian coffee-making rituals by the ladies who prepare coffee starting from roasting the beans, grinding them, adding water to the coffee, and then serving it to the customers. These rituals take place daily everywhere in the city to the extent that the aroma of coffee fills the streets. Is there a better scent than that of coffee being roasted? Thank you again.

I love scrambled eggs for breakfast, thanks to the woman who made them, we should encourage her and apologize for adding a little more salt. I'm sure your sister behind your camera knows how to make scrambled eggs. if I ever come to Addis Ababa, I would like to taste it with kitfo and Tipps.

When you come to Ethiopia let us know we will make kitfo and tipps for you I’m sure you will love it you are my real KZfaq fam

I now see a different picture about Ethiopia coffee-drinking culture as someone who is against everyday refined sugar consumption.. Here in my country, a gathering of young men like at the mykato (?) place, it'd be all about drinking alcohol.. If coffee (with some moderate intake of sugar) helps so that young men do not consume too much alcohol if at all, it is better.. The street food places which you stopped at in Addis Ababa are much cleaner than what I saw years ago in Hong Kong., and that is a plus factor for many would-be customers.. Thanks friend for introducing this aspect of life in Ethiopia to us..

So with the chickpeas, they just dry them out? Do they coat it with sugar or something?

Preparing food is even worse where you can't come as close as at a street food vendor.. Just that with the big brands, a lot gets hidden from our view. I remember seeing on one pay tv channel years ago, a hidden video-taping of a cooking area in one restaurant in the US.. One of the workers unzipped the pants and peed right there where food is being prepared..., not knowing that he was being recorded.
