One benefit when watching these races by video after the fact is a big time savings. The cleanup for Tim Brown's wreck took one hour plus. For me it took five minutes. Much respect and appreciation for JJ. You the MAN!!!

I was at the Texas Motorplex race in Ennis Texas in 2021 when he first brought out the Gray car..I was chatting with Javi by their big trailer and Ryan fired the car up and these cars are loud when they hit the throttle..even 30 feet away when Ryan whacked that throttle my ears melted and my body shook..Glad to see it back in the rotation for now. Thank you JJ for this video..excellent coverage as always.

Him and Jim howe was back and forth about Damon's engine combination and they banned his unit to late for him to be able to afford to build another engine. Jim spent a lot of money during the off-season building a block that pushed the rules and ran the first race with it before being outlawed

He told me it was due to money. Not enough sponsors etc. He did it last year on a shoestring budget and nearly won the whole thing. He's living his best life without this series though, no point in going broke and missing family time just to race.

He obviously just loves to race and this is what his family wants to do. Not many would keep pushing the way he does with all the issues he has to deal with and overcome just to be there. That's their passion and I give them credit for the drive they have to be competitive. I do get what you're saying because it sucks watching him struggle so much. I'd like to see him go race a no prep event that's not NPK and see if he can win one of those. At least get some confidence built up if he could win one.
