It isn’t untill you or the person you are racing wraps their car around a tree... problem with street racing is that there can be other motorists out on the road and can pop up out of nowhere even when it looks clear and safe... you traveling at high speeds and you will come up on other cars even though when you started the race there were non. I seen to many people pass from street racing,that’s a stupid way to die,sorry.

Correct and 99% have no control over their cars so sliding on the freeway is the only option, back in my younger days it was a big deal if you could twist it around in 1 lane without crossing the yellow or white lines.. kids now days only know how to floor it and hang on theres no driving involved and they need a big area to do it like parking lots or hwys

The takeover scene is a totally different leg of the car community... yes just because you don’t support it doesn’t mean it’s not part of the car world. You have rival crews who battle head to head, fireworks, blockers, and different organizers. It’s a really interesting time and unique as hell. And if you get hit by one of the cars doing donuts that’s why there is the phrase “get back get smacked” if you don’t like the scene then stay home.

A tip for your buddy running the ad at the end: Take a moment and have someone else hold the camera while you present your product. If I wanted lazy shots of someones nose, Id've gone to school to be an ENT doc.

I miss living close to Atlanta sometimes. Only time I ever saw someone shoot a gun at a street racing event was in Kansas City in '04 or so. And yeah, having shit on you is dumb when you're doing dumb shit

How we do it by me is we will do this down town Des Moines (literally in the city not even the suburbs) and “scoop the loop” where people do burnouts and everything you can think of then once the cops arrive everybody goes to the spots to dig race

Back in 2004-2008 in Massachusetts' Worcester county was the central for Street Racing. Me and my brother couple 17-18 yo, melted few Mazda motors on i290-i190. There was a huge crack down for Street Racing. Too many cops these days.
