YO! JUST TO SAVE ANY CONFUSION THE TTRS WAS BUILT, DEVELOPED AND TUNED BY THE WIZARDS AT ECOTUNE.. THE ENGINE WAS BUILT BY THE LADS AT RE PERFORMANCE.. I MADE A BIT OF A MEAL EXPLAINING IT IN THE INTRO 😅🙌🏽🏁

@@scoopaway9176 This surface was atrocious you can hear the tyres spinning until 5th gear. This car does a low 9 second quarter on the street. A 100-200 of 3.47 seconds. It also has the fastest 1m time and speed in the world. In the half mile it is clocking 190mph plus. This year alone it has come first at; Race Wars UK, Terminal Velocity on numerous occasions and JM Race Wars on numerous occasions. Over the weekend it came first at RACE1000 in Berlin to become the fastest RWD car in Europe and not just the UK. This car will never perform on a surface like this. You can see the dust and rubble flying in the air behind them both as they run down the strip. Fair play to the TTRS however it is a beast of a car. The Mclaren is not built for quarter miles. This was just a fun day out to go against a Car nobody else would. MSL never turn down a race. Let’s not forget it was a AWD car against a RWD both with very similar power to weight almost.

Just accept that the TTRS is the faster car, even with Lewis Hamilton in the 720s the TT take off was lightening quick. I’m an Audi hater but give credit when due, as the super car you don’t need a professional driver to drive it to beat the humble Audi TTRS.

So anyone who owns a 720s will know how surface temps and ambient temperature along with surface prep affect the car on a quarter mile. These cars are built for half mile plus races. On quarter mile the surface has to be in good condition and anyone who races on airfields in the UK will know how badly prepped these airfields are especially for a rear wheel drive car. This very car from MSL has won every UK drag racing event this year in The UK and has yesterday gone to Berlin and won Race 1000 for fastest RWD of the Day. MSL has three Mclarens all tuned and they dominate every event with 1st 2nd and 3rd fastest of the day. Whether it is Terninal Velocity, JM race wars or race wars uk. RWD against AWD will in most cases end up with the same result. AWD will get the win from stand still RWD will get the win from roll. Taking into account they are similar power. The TTRS is a hell of a build and very fast. These conditions were perfect for it. However you can hear the 720s spinning in the first 4 gears. This comes down to what I mentioned previously about track prep, heat in Tyres and temperature on the day. All in all a great video and well done to MSL for stepping up against a car nobody wanted to step to and having not one but three of the fastest Mclarens in Europe. Well done to Jamie for an epic battle. Well done to Ecotune for a monster of a car.

Not that the car was that much more superior but the driver’s reaction time from the 720s was as slow as Christmas. Never seen a 720 launch so slow

The 720s would never beat the TTRS on that surface from a stand still. Unfortunately in this instance the boost was not building fast enough for the launch to be activated properly hence the delay in launching. You can see the driver was looking down as launching early will disengage and flip and engine safety on the mapped ecu.
