To everybody who doesn't know, this is Kensington in Philly and it's considered to be one of the worst or THE worst street in America. I have done a missions trip to this place with my church. This place is very crazy. People are overdosing, drug dealing, doing drugs right in front of you. There's gang violence and the police aren't there to stop these all of these events from happening. It's really sad😞

Dear God keep me sober. I've been sober for over six months and this is the first time In over fifteen years I have been sober. I've been struggling with addiction since age 11 and I have severe poly addiction so I am so happy to have been able to find recovery I don't want to go back to that life it almost killed me so many times I don't want to end up living that life again. This is sad to see 😢, I’ve never been an addict, but I cut hair for alot of addicts when I go to the homeless camps and shelters and I try to be a nice calm loving person in their lives in that moment. This is one reasons that motivates me to get into law enforcement, to help clean up these streets or to help keep the people behind bars that poison our streets

@@ThatGuy-oc4mvif you were in the upper echelons then you'd know that their substances are incredibly clean and easy to access. these people are getting laced substances, running out of one drug and having to replace it with another, having to resort to cheaper substances because they can't afford their DOC. not to mention the fact that most of these people were already in horrific mental and financial positions leading to this in the first place, which only continues exacerbating the addiction. you're making pretty piss poor excuses yourself right now.

I’ve seen people with nothing and the worst possible situation have the best lives and people with the best opportunities and situations piss it away and be left with nothing. People like you are the problem with America, you’d rather pity someone and let them off the hook with millions of excuses rather than hold them to a higher standard and believe in personal accountability. These people have more resources than ANY other group in America to help them, but they don’t want help, they’d rather just keep wasting away as zombies. here too in France we have the same problem. Like for example the crack hill in Paris. But we found this phenomenon in all the major cities of the territory, with more and more shanty towns where many people live in makeshift tents. they are unsanitary places of perdition, places where you will find all kinds of drugs, with these drug addicts wandering aimlessly like zombies. Prostitution, violence of all kinds, gangs and immigration which doesn't help all that. we are witnessing the end of times live, my brothers and sisters

Without a fear of God and self control, its easy to become an addict. America is a country where people are lonely. People don't really care about their neighbors. People don't care about the elderly and those going through difficult times in their lives. Its material driven. However they love to show off how they're better than others. This drives a lot of people into depression and the need to use drugs.

America desperately needs universal access to healthcare, including mental healthcare and rehab. A lot of these people need require intensive support and care in order to get them to a better place in their lives. Addiction is a really horrible thing, and a lot of people do not have the knowledge, support, or resources to overcome it. But even those without addiction still need support in finding stable housing, jobs, etc.

Помню, в 1998-ом, как-то довелось поговорить с одним таким человеком - правда в каком-то городке Техаса то было, а не в Филадельфии - который ходил у Волл-Марта с губкой и канистрой какого-то моющего средства и предлагал свои услуги по протирке машинных окон для тех, кто припарковывался на стоянке. Вот именно это он мне и сказал, узнав, что я из России. Россия тогда, конечно, была не сахар, но меня поразило то, насколько он был уверен, что ему жилось куда лучше, чем кому-либо из русских.

yup... true, but much less, only around there and a couple of other spots... and far less dangerous.. Copenhagen the same around the main station.. Paris has some spots too, every city does... But what is shocking about Philadelphia, is that it looks like it's whole neighbourhoods like that..

In addition to your comment, most everyone knows about the 1,000 year plan they, (the Chinese), have for World domination. They may as well throw in pay backs while they're at it. The Japanese should be the ones really crapping their pants for what they did to the Chinese. In the end, China plays long ball and they WILL accomplish their plan. Too bad our Gov't and politicians can't think past yesterday's lunch! We have to be the biggest bunch of naive buffoons to have ever lived on this planet. Once they break our backs and our wills culturally and economically, we'll be like lambs led to the slaughter, sad to say. I still love America but our days are numbered.

@@sydhardie9339The one who tried to create hell for another will end up in it. Who should end this? I think the country in which this is happening. Drugs on the heads of these people do not fall from the sky. This is all imported and the traffickers are covered up. I live in Russia and to say that I am in shock is an understatement. We don’t have anything like that. There are drug addicts in every country and there’s a problem. In Russia you won’t see this on the streets. Garbage and drug addicts on the streets are a script for a horror film. The funny thing is that US politicians are trying to dictate to the whole world how they should live. No guys, we don’t need this kind of life.

Absolute insanity. I never understood the idea behind getting 'high'. Like it makes no sense to me to be out of control of myself and zapped out of my mind. I dont get it. Drugs are so frightening their effects. Why someone would put themselves thru this horror is mind-boggling. All for a feeling. Jesus!

Yes drugs are bad, but simply blaming drugs is simplistic, and somewhat cruel as it places all responsibility on the individuals. We must ask ourselves, what social conditions lead people to this situation? There are other ways.

legalizing their use is not the way though, they are doing this on purpose to drive down property values in these areas so people move out and they can be bought for cheap, torn down, and expensive apartments be built instead which will drive these people away

@@Renn13 this shit really kills fast, but our people know about it and decides to not get into it. there is also synthetic drugs in ru, but still doubt it's widespread among russian people. (at least i didn't saw that count of addicted, homeless, etc. in my entire life)
