Feel like I've nailed this thanks to this video, I found the hardest part to put fluidly down is the B,D,G picking pattern which I suppose constitutes the percussive element of the song. I certainly wouldn't have progressed so well by tab alone, so many thanks for the lesson.

Thank you I enjoyed learning to play this one, I’m a beginner so the hardest part was for me was changing between the g chord with the hammer on and and then getting my pinky on the D string.

Umm, not really. This one's a G7th and it's pretty good. Just don't get a really cheap one and it should ok.
