Since it was the final bosses fight for the 2nd game. I think it should of been more than a star. Still I think they should of added the first Mr X fight from the first game for this one. For a lesser skill player, the risk of losing lives might be 2 great.

Old school sprite beat ups, they had it all great music and most of all fun! They used to put some much into these games. They sure don't make like this anymore. It's good to see Devs still want to pay homage to the Streets of Rage series.

Music was on point as well with all the cool bosses of Streets of Rage 2 this game is very cool. Most fighting fans are loving this game btw not just us old skoolers.

@Starscream91 it was a lot of fun. Memories that I will always cherish. I also had the privilege of working for ebGames/GameStop in the late 90s. Let me tell you. Exciting days to see the SNES, Dreamcast, PS1, and Sega Saturn and their games enter the store. Seeing the games in action and chatting with the customers and other staff. I may have been in my 20's then but many days I felt just like a 13 year-old on Christmas.

I discovered in 95 that they brought them back on the 3rd one if its helps. Maybe the sor3 characters still can use them in the 4th one... hope it helps

He was easy to kill. Stay far away and turn your back and he would do the running attack and you just use your jump attack on repeat. He was like the easiest boss for me.

@@ghostlywinds5334 Well, you also get points. And sometimes a full heal. There isn't much of a reason NOT to go for them though, they're basically just bonus rooms, since if you die you also don't lose a life.

@Starscream91 the reason why it's so amazing is because it stays faithful to the originals. The Gen Z COD kids may want juggling, but the real hardcore older gamers want that traditional solid gameplay.

Yes. Not sure why they used the Game Gear tracks in some places instead of the Genesis/Megadrive originals.

The use of retro music in this game is generally a mess. It's all oddly mismatched.

@@RandomJtv Agreed. They use a boss theme in one of the stages and a stage theme for one of the bosses. It's like they just randomly threw the retro tracks in instead of actually placing them intentionally based on the previous use of the songs.

i was a little disappointed when i found that they used game gear versions for SoR1 tracks instead of mega drive, its my favorite game/ost.

The music in the original streets of Rage 1 for the Sega Genesis is some the best music you will find in Retro video games :)

Well, you would need to tackle these bosses all on one life. If you die, you don't lose a life, but you're teleported out.

You cut a rope attached to the handle on the floor, to drop a chandelier on the enemies. There are two of these.

@Phil McCool yesh cheers mate - on a second play through I realised there was a rope attached I didn’t realise I’d cut it the first time 😂 good for a trophy if you hit the enemies with the chandelier too.
