These are 14 Tips that I came up with to get better at Streets of Rage 4.
Some of these tips were picked while playing the game these passed few days and some of them were tips that was posted online

The White Flashing also means that the enemy has “Armor” armor is a fighting game term that basically means they will ignore your attacks even if you hit them. Usually the only way to break armor is with a defensive special Red flashing means they are going for a grapple attack

@@blackmamba1398 Also, If They flash yellow that means they are doing their charge attack which will be stronger, and give them armor

This game is pretty technical and quite fun.. the more you play the more you get better! Once you figure out how to use vertical floor spacing and the right timings of enemies, it becomes easier to progress! Hope you're loving the game as much we all do :)

The best advice here for completing harder stages on harder difficulties is using the vertical space. It really cannot be stressed enough just how effective it is as a defense mechanism when you have a ton of enemies on screen. If you incorporate back throws while doing this, you can free up the area horizontally.

Did you know if you hit the arcade machines with a tazer then you go to a secret boss level where you can unlock an extra star, even if you lose the fight when you return to the normal level you regain all your health.

@@blackmamba1398 Yeah for real, the first one is in the police station and you fight Jack from SOR2, there one on the old pier level where you fight the Blanka rip off from SOR2, there's one in the bar on the Underground level where you fight the Ultimate Warrior enemy and in the art gallery right at the end you can go to the last boss of SOR2 to fight Sheeva and Mr X.

@@blackmamba1398 Sure thing! One trick I've noticed lately is that the neutral jump gives you a lot of I frames. It seems to work especially well at avoiding the riot cops baton attacks and Barbon's spin kick.

I noticed when I started using my special attacks “not Star attacks” more often I was able to do more CC. Higher difficulties that’s what really helps is crowd control.

Yes your absolutely correct! The defensive special attack can be your life saver and it's extremely helpful for CC as it has a invisibility frame. You can time it right to parry enemy moves to extend combos!

You can get out of hold if you rapidly press any action button as soon as he hold you! Hope this Helps. Happy Gaming Fam!!

Are you referring to Adams dash? He can dash forward or backward by double tapping the direction :) Not all characters have that.

Keep at it and youll get better!! Just read the situations and wait for your opening to attack :) Shiva is hard boss to defeat!

How do you escape the grip of an enemy who has grabbed you? I've seen people do this but I can't figure it out.

Hey buddy!! Just tap any of the action buttons repeatedly and you'll pop out of the hold :)

They are basically special moves that does alot of AOE damage. To use it press triangle and circle together :)

You know why this game is so difficult even in normal? BECAUSE THEY ARE DUMB ENOUGH TO REMOVE RUNNING AND VERTICAL ROLLING!! Can't you imagine dodging enemies attack with running and rolling? It will help a lot!

@@Dark3rThanBlack That's your problem, not ours. I've played beat 'em ups for years, yet I've still learned a few things, especially given the way the specials and juggling have changed. Back in the day when you used a super, it cost health that you couldn't recover without food. The ability to recover health through combos is a major upgrade that shouldn't be dismissed or disrespected. Furthermore, unless you've got better ideas to go with that sarcasm, you need to go elsewhere.

Those are tips that the the game literally tells you. And also you can learn through experience by just playing the game. They were all very basic information.
