Ive been doing ballet and modern for like 10 years now, but I recently started teaching ballroom lessons. 😮❤💃 its a whole different world and I really like hearing the experience of pros. I did get fairly far as a modern dancer but I feel like a kid again learning this new technique. Its awsome, far less punishing, and an excellent excuse to sew 😀

I too began with ballet and modern. I changed to ballroom when I was 19. I went straight into teacher training. I still remember the first time the lead raised his hand and told me I'm supposed to turn under it.... fascinating!
