Any scandals can cause the cast to be removed from the show but apparently beating women can earn you a spot on the show, as the producers showed which doesn't speak well for them. Choosing Blake Jenner for Adam Foster's role was nothing short but a mockery in Melissa's face!

Plus these people are not teenagers, they get paid for this content so whatever they hinted at, it was INTENTIONAL. leeches do that and it is unforgivable .

@@SophiaHex yeah, I think, they didn't go do the research because they think viewers won't know the difference or care to fact check. Most viewers are headline readers anyway. They don't even gain context let alone do follow-up fact checking themselves. Thus the point here. But you minimized your argument by name calling. Nevermind the fact that you clicked on a video you deem aleech and instead of calling out inaccuracies you call ME out for doing just that and drop a broad, label bomb without merit. You seem to have some bitterness and it appears to be misdirected. Honestly, it's just a KZfaq video, it's click bait by default. Call out misinformation and move on. You used leeches is a blanket label and you really have no idea if they really got the info wrong honestly or just want add revenue. And it really doesn't matter if they want either one. By you're interpretation all KZfaq videos are leeches until proven innocent. Seriously, your hostile approach screams of personal insult. It's just KZfaq. Shine some light in the dark and move on. Don't make it personal and don't blanket label without evidence.

I found the interplay between nerd-esque semi-shy Kara and brash, brisk Cat Grant SUPER interesting... twisted mentor- protege relationship for sure! Ultimately positive in tone for the development of Kara as a person and hero. She can stand up to her "sell what's sensationalized, and popular" current boss. Thanks to Cat Grant's rather rough training wheels. 😏

Don't really agree with the replaceable one. I mean I get the actors should know their place but if they were to take Chyler or Harewood off the show what would it be anymore? A lot of people already miss Mechad and Jeremy and Chris and Calista. Plus, with Melissa deciding to end Supergirl, they really shouldn't try to replace her because that would just take away all my excitement for the show. Benoist will always be the one true Kara Danvers.

Well, after seeing this I´m not surprised anymore that they never talk about what a large part of their fanbase wants to know about - SuperCorp (or the lack off it!). Katie McGrath... I simply adore that woman! 😍She really should have her own show! Call it The Luthors - just think of the family drama, it would almost write itself! 👍 🙌 ✌ 😁

is not like she didn't want to. she wanted to keep being part of the show but when the cw moved production to Canada, they expected everyone to LIVE there. that's not easy when your have children. For what i know, they tried flying her every month to film but back then , the production team had no idea how to run things smoothly so it became too time consuming and not profitable for either party. And so both parties mutually agreed to write the character off. she'll be back this season and hopefully she can give KARA a real hug this time.

speaking of replacements, all the ones on the show were really not that good. like, cat grant was great, snapper was just a dick for no reason half the time (but his actor was brilliant lmao). maxwell lord had an interesting love/hate feel to him, edge was just someone who just really hated women. brainy's never gonna get down the humor that winn held. it's kind of a mess.

I disagree a bit. The character pf Winn Schott was really great and obviously fit the comedic relief role, and when you get used to one of them in the formula of good TV it is indeed hard to adjust. We recognize Brainiac-5 was introduced and offered as a "comedic relief" role and people didn't like it. As for me, I was pleasantly surprised that they added Brainiac-5 and some coluon mythos into the show. People not familiar with all the DC lore will miss how just how deadly and world ending the species was and they handled it well. They got to do more than just "comic relief" with Brainy, and really pulled off the confliction of a hyper intelligent personification of perfect logic being trying to cope with emotional regulation like a learning disgruntled and hurt child. Winn and Brainy are different and I miss Winn a lot but they could have picked a WAY worse shoe I with out any cool mythos or background...like William.

None of the cast is "replaceable". Calista isn't, Melissa definitely isn't, Jeremy isn't, Mehcad, Chyler, NOBODY is replaceable. I can't believe this channel - most of these "strict rules" aren't even a thing, if you've seen bloopers and interviews.

I love this show I’ve watched all 5 season 3 times I’ve been depressed and having personal issues and the show gives me so much hope. When I’m sad I just turn on Netflix or cw39 and I feel better and a since of hope

It is true they dictate stunt doubles on the CW. Particularly on Supergirl. However on Legends of Tomorrow, they have Caity Lotz so that she can do more of her stunts. The same thing went for Arrow's Stephen Amell because he was so athletic he could complete the course on American Gladiator - one of the few actors who could do it unassisted.

They moved to Canada because they switched networks not because it was too expensive. They went from abc to the CW

It was actually expensive to film the show in L.A. its why CBS didn't renew the show, thats when The CW renewed the show and they moved production to Vancouver were its cheaper to film.

That may be, I like it fine but not as much. However, it is true to the original costume change storyline in Adventure comics 390-424, where she gets a new skirt suit and a bodysuit that looks exactly like Season 5's.

In the summary I really do think you mean "demonstrates" not "demons", as the latter is really bad news... a "demon" is to be thought of as a gangster spirit. whereas to demonstrate is what this shows them doing. As far as the actors in this, I do appreciate this story, but I will never support feminism. I also really do believe it far more important that the actresses when they have an upcoming addition to their families get maternity leave, to deal with the baby that they bring into the world. As well as some serious time with their families.
