Hey there, just wanted you to know the card version does actually work on the Analogue duo! The cards were made by Guinea Pig Games and it's been tested and verified. But the DX version will have more features if you'd rather wait!

Thanks for the review, it was helpful - this game looks great and I was very close to buying it, but I wish there was a save or password option; as indicated in the review most of us gen-X people that would be interested in homebrew games for 35 year old gaming system can’t commit to a 6 or 7 hour stretch of at least I certainly can’t. I’ll consider the DX version once it comes out, but honestly, it would be really awesome if it was released on hu-card instead of CD. It’s very much just my preference but I much prefer collecting hu-card games.

The problem is that the hu-card version is at the maximum memory that a hu card can hold. There's no space for a password system. I hope the DX version comes out soon as well

If you buy the rom, save states work well on emu or flash cart. But yeah, playing this on Analogue Duo means spending a fun amount of consecutive hours.

This game has a ton of replayability. Definitely buying the DX version when it is available.

I received my physical version and tried it on my Analog Duo latest firmware. Is it normal that there are no soundFX, only music? Although I have the physical version, I will have to use the digital version and put it on my everdrive to be able to save.

It didn't have a ton of sound effects. That's correct. There should be some during the combat scenes as I recall
