That is a nice looking set up. I prefer the longbow limbs. I love metal riser bows. Metal riser bows do not flex at the handle! Ask any Olympic archer why they use a metal riser. Again, quiet stable shooting platform. ScottinPa.

I agree the wf19 is heavy but man I love mine. I shoot a pretty heavy arrow but it’s the quietest metal riser bow I’ve owned. It’s as quiet as any of my more traditional recurves although it did take a little more effort to get it that quiet. I don’t have high end limbs for it yet but even with my TT carbon longs it shoots exceptionally well I love it

Add a 100 grain insert to get that foc on up there. At least try it. Btw good video

Why would you want to add 100 more grains up front to an arrow flying perfect? I always choose tune over weight. It's been the debate that will continue until the end of time lol. I believe 420 grains is plenty for whitetail and some would even say elk. Confidence in your equipment and the ability to hit the spot will triumph everytime!

@@pitbullman4111 momentum used with a heavy foc will help in lots of circumstances. Accidental shoulder shots, high wind and even when we accidentally make a bad release. The heavier weight will also help quieten your bow. I personally wouldn't even go in the woods with a arrow lighter than 500 grains

@@cdp50359 after several stump shoots with less than dead stumps and several tests with my single bevel head I'm good to go on penetration! I may change my mind if I ever have a bad experience but for now it's not let me down yet! My setup has plenty foc. Who knows maybe I'll be total different come season end but I doubt it.

Yes sir! I really like the metal riser bows.......well this one anyway lol! The thing I like about traditional bows is you can shoot a bear grizzly and one like i have here and you can shoot them in the same manner and get the same results!

I’ve never heard of stress problems with a 3 piece take down bow and unless striker has found a way to make a metal riser quite I wouldn’t purchase one plus they offer no grips on the bow . Just an opinion

Unfortunately I don't believe they make one of these that will fit me with my 32 inch draw. I have broken 5 bows in that gets expensive

Kevin Roberts talk to Gregg, at Javaman archery. He makes short bows that accommodate longer draw lengths. He made me a 56” recurve, that handles my 30” draw without an ounce of stack, pinch or any other issue.

The weight itself definitely helps stabilizer the platform. A well made and balanced riser like the CD archery risers need very little stab weight to help balance them

@@pitbullman4111 thanks for the swift reply. I am in Australia and can get a 12oz X-Spot stainless steel barebow weight easily but not the 3.5" weight in your video. Just wondering if the barebow weight would work just as well on my RK1. Cheers mate
