Ай бұрынStriped Bass Delight with Bluefish Bite & the Fishing is A17 Alright - A working bite is a delight and always alright. Lost a nice minnow to a big bluefish. How it started. Anticipated some smaller bass. Whipped out the leader and tied the sucker up. Slapped on a A17 and missed strike. Not sure. Bluefish followed up that is nice. Felt like some minnow time and a darting bass in the shallows grabbed it before my eyes. Got the A17 going again and a nice bluefish limit. Good bite, working bite, alright, and a delight.

I've been hitting Jones Inlet and the flats by the US Coast Guard. Two weeks ago and last week there was a constant bite. If I wasn't getting hit, the next guy was. Now? Nothing!

Hard to say something that varies but some area can be more conduit to a low others a high and some just fish dependent, but a good question and I really just go when I can

A17 always tangling my line, how do you prevent that Jerry. My barrel swivels don’t seem to help. Maybe I need a bigger swivel?

Good question has me thinking Cameron may be the leader. Stiffer leader or go up from 30lb to 50lb I think may elevate that. Of if too limp it may wrap over on the cast. Imagine like using tapered fly leader but reverse

Im not big on em but a fast bite they make good bite guards, many say and I go with that bluefish see em, but I had bluefish bite line for a snack!
