4 жыл бұрынStep 1: Removing the old Rolls Royce L410 V8 engine. To do that we have to clear a ton of parts out of the engine bay. We're jumping right in and making tons of room, enough room that we can stand inside the engine bay.
I bought a beat up old Rolls Royce for $1,400... now we're going to put a reliable engine in it and make some smoke. We have 30 days to put an LS6 in this 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II. Then we have drive the 9 hours to Houston for the burnout competition at Cleetus and Cars! Time to get busy building the first LS swapped Rolls Royce in the world.

G'day from Australia. Remember the front is the "bonnet", the back is the "boot", the sides are "mudguards". Standard tools are"Imperial" unless you are unlucky enough to find "Whitworth or SAE" nuts and bolts. You have four"tyres" and a "handbrake". It has a "steering box" and under your doors are the "Sills". The top of your engine has a "tappet cover". Clear as mud.

That LS is going to look comically tiny in that engine bay. Think you'll make a custom "R/R" engine cover? That would be a nice touch.

I love the look of panic on your face when you realize that you don't have a big enough drain pan once all the oil starts draining out too fast !

Question, why did you pull all the accessories off the engine? Wouldn’t it be easier ( save time) to pull the whole engine with accessories attached? And even if you wanted to take them off to sell, then remove from engine out of the car. Just curious, thanks!

I looked up this very car with the VIN and John Lennon bought this and George Harrison ended up with it. George sold it to Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones. Later it was sold to Eric Clapton. Super cool that some famous people owned this car and good luck with your L-6 transformation to do burnouts in!
