I really dislike this narrative that Sin is top 5 character, but no one plays him. It's just not reality to suggest that there's a tool in a game sooo powerful, that no one uses them. Do I agree that his buffs were effective and he has a good match up spread amongst the other top tier characters? Absolutely, that's a perfectly reasonable and observable thing to suggest. The strongest pro players test the things they think are really powerful. Leo and Apology man have had more success on Faust, than anyone with Sin. Leffen is playing Leo now, Umisho is playing some Asuka. These are much better indicators of where character power lies. Even Ky mains like Tyurara, Kizzy, and Dany still prefer Ky in most match ups, Despite having pocket Sins. So a large body of the evidence seems to suggest that Sin, while strong, is probably not a top 5 character. He's most likely a solid A-tier at best.

I've been saying this for months man, all the pros slamming may and sin into s+ and not elaborating kinda irks me. Solid character with good potential, but clearly not the peak of the peak or else he would actually have tournament results from dedicated players.
