I am 42 male. I had a stroke 2.5 month ago. My right side of leg was paralysis causing footdrop but after 5 week from stroke my foot started moving and gained sense of life. I am working out everyday gently and recovering fully. Hope you will get better too.

I am 19 and male too. I had a hemorrhagic stroke 4 years ago. Still cannot move part of the leg thats under my left knee. I used to work hard and tried to recover it, but it didnt paid off and i lost motivation to continue. Nonetheless, feeling good, at least for now.

@@MahmodoVX Answer is Yes.. I have been reading while I had a stroke. Chance of full recovery is 10%. Stroke is mostly ischemic 80% and hemorrhagic 20%. I had ischemic but hemorrhagic is more harmful. You will see that your mom will recover mostly at during 3 month. Be Patient. She will get better.

My grandma had two strokes.One two days ago, and yesterday another stroke. I can't stop crying at all. I can't sleep either. We're gonna visit her today.. My dad isn't here. He's at a different state for his work and is coming back soon. My mom, brothers, cousins, aunt, grandpa, and I don't know what to do. But we pray to God everyday for her. Thanks for the video. I also know she can't move her left, or right side. but she can move her head. I'm afraid we could lose her. There's at least an 80% chance we could lose her. Her 2nd stroke was she now can't talk very well. Thanks so much for the video one again.

My grandfather, stubborn as any man, had two strokes in April of 2020. Turned our lives completely upside down, it's never been nearly the same since. My mother, a COTA, is his full-time caretaker and we base our entire lives over his schedule. It's a big price to pay, but he's here with us so we are very grateful. He's not got any mental damage, still sharp as a whip which is both a blessing and a curse, but he is paralyzed on his right side.

Everything is so simple as a child theres no worries of any kind your life is easy and your mind is so innocent, But then as your brain develops and you get older and wiser you evidently start to realize truly just how fragile life can be, one minute you could be spending time with the people you love and care about or you could be going out, maybe traveling the world you know just creating everlasting memories, and the next minute you could be gone in a blink of an eye because of something like this. Videos like this really make you reflect and appreciate the borrowed time that your spending on this planet. I fortunately have never had anyone I know or care about go through something like this but it still hits home you know because it's so real and it's just a reality of how fast your life can be taken away.

My dad had a stroke on November 1st 2021. Unfortunately he had to be taking to another city because they don’t have stoke resources in my home town. I believe that trip caused the damage to be severe. He can talk but it’s hard to understand. It’s a sad thing to see your once healthy father in the condition he is in now and it still hurts to this day to see him the way he is now. He is now in recovery in a facility. He is able to stand now. Earlier, his right leg was paralyzed and his right hand. He can stand and walk but not for long periods of time. 😢

My dad had a stroke on this day last month and he passed from it. It was a massive stroke at 56 years old. It was so bad it blew the artery and nothing could be done. He was on life support and declared brain dead 2 days later. When it first happened they told my mom if he made out of this he would be in a nursing home for the rest of life. So it hurts that he I gone but he would have hated that. It was so unexpected my dad was very lively and although he smoked and had high blood pressure he did keep up with medications and going to appointments.

Thank you for this video. I was caring for a loved one who had a stroke. Even though her medical teams said she'd never walk again, we got her walking again as if nothing ever happened. Then life played a cruel joke- she developed dementia. It was horrible! Caregivers need all the help we can get as it is our love for the person that assigns us to the role of caregiver- and it can be a rough road to recovery. If you are a caregiver, please take care of yourself as to be at your best!!

I had a major stroke caused by a clot in my left femoral artery and a hole in my heart it took a 35mm diameter bung to seal it in keyhole surgery later in the year! your videos offer an excellent presentation of what a stroke is something I've only read about previously my stroke was in May 2004 I got my speech back in a couple of days and relearned to walk in about 4 months but haven't got my left hand and arm back yet! They are improving as it is slowly the best forms of muscle tone relief I've come across is Acupuncture and Acutouch! I see a physiotherapist who practices acupuncture about once a week then use a Seabo flex splint at home! I can move my Arm OK if its supported my drive to recover is because I want to return to work looking after Jumbo Jets if ther're any left flying by then! As it is most of them are Parked up in the Nevada Desert acting as a source of spare parts for the aircraft still in service! so there's less of them left every year!

My Gran had a stroke in March. It was heartbreaking to see an eloquent, fit and fiercely independent woman robbed of thought, locomotion and wellness so suddenly. It made her age instantly. She has thankfully been recovering and whilst it is a slow process, including use of a stick and some truly incredible support from my Grandad, to see strength and coherence returning to her makes you truly appreciate how fortunate we have been to still have her.

Nucleus your videos are amazing. I'm wondering if you can make a video about chicken pox especially in pregnancy. My wife is having chicken pox in her 8th week of pregnancy and I has wondering what does that mean to her and the baby. Thank you

Thanks for your comment, Daniel, and your excellent suggestion. We will put your request in the development queue, but it will take many months before the animation is completed - sometimes up to a year. In the meantime, please talk to your wife's obstetrician about the risks of chickenpox during late pregnancy, and you can also find numerous resources online. From research, it seems the risk of harm to your wife or baby seems very low.

You have to be in bad health in order to have a heart attack/stroke. You think that heart attacks simply came out of nowhere? You must have hypertension, arteriosclerosis in order to have a stroke.
@Cheeto_Fingerz
@Cheeto_Fingerz Ай бұрын
@@DDT-lr3zz Uh, no. That is simply not true lol. You can be in peak physical condition and be the embodiment of perfect human health, hell you could be a damn Spartan soldier, and still have a heart attack. While it's true that being healthy can greatly reduce the risk, there is *still* a small chance of it happening. That's just the nature of the heart. So, yes, one can absolutely happen out of nowhere.

@@Cheeto_Fingerz That would be the loss of a loved one that can give your a heart attack/stroke, specially at old age. This is very sad, no one deserves this and yet no one has a guaranteed life in this world... We should be immortal and be able to live and enjoy our people for ever. My condolences goes to all those who lost one of a stroke. I try to go through the past to see if I did something wrong or if there was something I could have done to prevent it to a loved one...and possibly there were a million ways. I guess we'll never know...we will never forget you Mom!

My friend unfortunately no once the few minutes passed and the treatment wasn't on time the damaged tissue can not be safe afterwards 💔. But depending on what lobe the stroke was you will have small aftermath or big ones depending on the damage in the neurons. The good news is that with rehabilitation healthy neurons can manage itself to accomplish the function s the neurons that were lost this is called neurogenesis but it requires a lot of support from families and patients need to have will to go ahead. The recovery can take time including years 🙏. Best wishes for everyone.
