Stromae is Belgian but he dated a Portuguese girl descendent from Cape Verdians...she was a top model....and thats How he was intruduced to probably the greatest singer in Cape Verde... Cesária Évora!!And the rest is history...he decided to do this great musical piece of art to honour her!!Thats how deep different cultures seem to touch...amazing right!!
