SNY actually does a good job on this stuff, but they were stuck with the Pirates' feed tonight because the Mets are still subject to the stupid coronavirus rules. Plus Gary Cohen was out and Gary Thorne was subbing in the booth with play-by-play. Keith Hernandez was with him but there's no way Keith is going to bother trying to read anyone's lips lol.

Nah, I remember watching a Cubs-Mets bench clearing in Wrigley back in the early 90s. I don't remember what started it, but not much happened. The highlight was Eddie Murray (1B for the Mets that day) and Andre Dawson (was standing on first when it happened), backing away and shaking their heads. They showed another reply view, and you could see Eddie ask Andre, "You going in?" Andre responds with, "Naw, too old for that shit." Eddie pats Andre's chest with his mitt, nods, and says. "Got that fucking right." As they both start to back toward the 1B side camera well.
