My grip strength must be very weak I cannot close my 300lb hand gripper
@TheDegoe7 жыл бұрын
now i want all the equipment in this video.
@TheDegoe7 жыл бұрын
living in an industrial city that is easier said than done and the equipment does do an amount of work for you as it makes certain exercises more accessible if they are even possible without equipment and can't keep smashing my hands in to a hug tub of beans for hours (true story). just because you have more acces to natural "equipment" doesn't mean i do, neither does me wanting equipment mean that i don't want to do work.
@TheDegoe7 жыл бұрын
that is more a statement on your imagination, what i do with my equipment doesn't need to be the same as somebody else does. i can't do full turn arounds and such with my sandbag because 30 kg is to heavy to do that for no but somebody else could probably do it so that means i need to think of different ways to target those muscle.
@WarnerKing7 жыл бұрын
I agree. I immediately searched the description hoping for a link or names of equipment.

Awesome! I love you CaliMove! As always, high quality info. And both El and Sven are ridiculously shredded and strong. You guys are amazing. I would just add to the equation some finger extensor exercices. These can only be developed by completely extending the fingers and putting some resistance to it, and it's development is crucial to avoiding forearms issues related to extreme grip strength (forearm pain). It's more of a therapeutic exercices more than a grip strentgh one. But damn, once I started exercicing my fingers extensors... all my forearm pains realted to extreme gripping strength (like the one needed for the false grip on rings) completely dissapeared! Finger extensors FTW Specially for those grip related sports, like rock climbing, gymnastics... Thanks you guys, much respect for your work

I'd love a video on every day movements that we can do better. For example, when I sit in my chair at work, I try to tilt my pelvis forward (engaging my core) and plant my feet flat on the ground (gives a little ankle/calf stretch), which has the effect of pressing my lower back against my chair for maximum support. Sitting properly has all sorts of positive impacts on your mobility and performance. I'd love more of these "fit life hacks."
@polardodo45867 жыл бұрын
Sven has a tick when he is doing pull ups: before pulling up, he always does a small movement with his thumbs, that is funny ^^ Btw you are my favorite youtube chanel, your content is always on point and very informative. Well I'm not really an expert. Maybe you should take it slower, climb for less time and let yourself get used to it. I have friends that climb regularly and have crazy grip strength.
@climbscience48137 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the type of pain that you have. After climbing, your forearm muscles will be very exhausted. So if your forearm muscles hurt the next day, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Also, if your skin hurts, that's nothing to worry about either usually. However, If it is your joints hurting, for instance inside your fingers or at the elbow, you need to pay attention to that and probably take it slowly or see what's going on. What kind of pain were you having?
@lukasotto43007 жыл бұрын

Grip strength is very important as you approach old age. I'm lazy, I admit. I depend on my swimming. Every now and then I get the grip strengthers out. I've also started weightlifting again, albeit at a very low level. I'm concerned about bone strength, and whilst swimming is great for muscles and flexibility it's useless for bone strength.
