The strong winds making their way through the Las Vegas valley knocked down trees, streetlights, and even part of a metal sign at the California Hotel and Casino.

I saw several car accidents because the traffic lights weren’t working. It’s amazing how easily order turns into chaos. We are screwed if anything major actually happens. 😂😂

EMP like the one from the late 1800s.. back then, it didn’t hurt since we didn’t rely on electricity and the internet wasn’t even a thing. Some radio outages were the worst of it

Flew into Vegas right before a wind storm. Our plane was the last to land before they shut the airport down. Watched huge tents take off from the ground and land on people, watched a Cop get pummeled by a post on the street. It was a wild few hours

I live in North Las Vegas and my power was out for over 3 hrs, my car was stuck in my garage and my phone was barely charged so I just took as nap 😂

I’m in Summerlin in a 3 story building. Several times the building was moving from the wind. I’m afraid the wind will blow out windows.

In Summerlin too in a 2 story and the house feels like it’s about to come off the foundation. Don’t get me started on the flaps inside the damn exhaust fans in the house. Those things are so annoying.

I was on my completion of diy solar panel,after wrestling rain and wind rain and wind for weeks, but it felt too good to be true that I'm accomplishing something in my life ,and behold such a wind blew away my solar panel unto pieces . Now that's more like it😂

One of the big reasons I retired in Tucson rather than Sinless City: the wind! Having COPD, all that fine silica that comes in from the desert can be deadly and raise havoc with your lungs.
