Today we are going over 2 strong MK1 Characters that work well at a high level. You see these characters regularly in tournaments, their basic bnb combos are not difficult to execute, they have simple (yet effective) gameplans, and have tools for most situations.

@TheKompetitor as a new fighting game player just getting into Mortal Kombat 1, thanks for this, I will definitely be picking one of these 2 characters up as a fresh faced beginner to the game who still needs to buy the DLC fighter pack but that’s ok I will eventually, not sure I am ready to drop $30.00 plus on it but, I will once it’s on sale for a lesser price point where I don’t feel like I am being price gouged for a pack of DLC characters

yeah sareena works great for hit confirming into combos as well as zoning!

What are your thoughts on reptile? Ive heard some people say hes good for a beginner

He isn't a good character competitively but his gameplan and combos aren't too difficult

What are Johnny's bad matchups and hiw do you counter them? I got washed by a nitara player flying all over the place and her mix was crazy

I think Johnny loses to ashrah, kenshi, kung lao, tanya, peacemaker, and raiden imo. I don't have enough nitara experience at high level, but i feel like using Khameleon would help with keeping her out of the air

@@TheKompetitor man i see peacemaker more than any character in the game , peacemake and raiden with kano the most annoying and the most that I play against
