I have worked in IT consulting for 17 years and it has always been a challenge to explain to people the amazing diversity of opportunity and experience that consulting affords. Great job on taking a broad topic and making it understandable!

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l9SXftmpxs-sdHk.html - I agree with your comments - you have to have the depth to see what's really needed and to give the right advice or build the right solutions for the client - and consulting has been my life's work as well - been at it for close to 30 years.
