Best thing for the struggle bus is park it up and buy a new 1, then get a mobile mechanic to look at it, I hear that, that professional struggler is a good mechanic who ever he is 😂😂🤔🤔

Hi Chris I got called out the other day to one of these ivecos that had the exact same problem. It would run for Abit and then completely die and was the lift pump in the tank breaking down it seems to be a known issue on these vans. Hope that helps you with the struggle bus 👍

Had quite a few dailys with in tank pump dead mate, will intermittently not start and store fuel pressure faults, piece of piss to drop tank and change aswell, if it doesn’t start again then leave ignition on and bang the fuel tank see if you can hear the pump kick in, pretty sure it comes as a whole sender unit aswell

Hi Chris , the thick pink and brown wire to your tank sender is power supply to low pressure pump , also there’s a chassis multi plug ns of radiator , the wiring becomes insecure and rubs on chassis leg, it’s deffo a wiring fault that’s why your fuel level lights flashing

Your positive attitude is a very much welcoming thing Chris. You're right about the weather ....three hours in it with suntan lotion and I was getting red.....the wind was like being abroad ....I hated the last few nights ...very little sleep at all.. Nice one Chris , intermittent in tank pump I'll bet , I had same problem once and I used a rubber mallet to smack the tank when it got stuck , it kept me going for a month until I could change it..... 😀 Greetings to the birthday girl..... 🍰🍰🍰 Cheers 👍

Hi Chris check the grey relay for the fuel pump they get hot and become loose and fall out or burn out inside

Had a van doing exactly the same a few years back, was the pump in the tank. Gave the tank a a clump underneath while someone turned it over and it started! Done that for a couple days until I got a new pump. Hope you get sorted fella 👍

Also I’d be pulling the stack pipe on your struggle bus, see if there is a filter on the pick up, might have the Black Death grown on it. Have a massive problem on some of coaches with it

There should be a low pressure lift pump in the tank, then high pressure after the filter.

Chris, check your relays, used to have a vauxhall carlton that did something similar and was a relay that cut the fuel off in the case of a crash .

The tank sender is a pump that sends it to the filter head. Had a load off them if you hit then hard the tank hits the body and damages them. The is a fuel pump fuse under the bonnet aswell

Got a mate who's a scrap man chris,he had old iveco pick up,i could see daylight under his inside tyres on twin wheel back axle i told him about it,he said he knew about it & its like a lift axle they only touch road when got a full load of scrap on,🤣well what could i say to that 🤣

I remember my iveco it was a 57 plate last of the twin wheelers 3 litre TD fukin pull a house down but parts were so expensive i used to dred going to the dealers to get parts was like having yer pants pulled down no lube!!!!! ABS SENSORS were always going driving round quarries pedal 2 the metal didnt do em much good nice one m8 😊

Get a Transit mini bus Chris , me neighbours got a Talbot express camper van, 80s retro , used to drive the tipper version along with the Bedford CF on the council in the days of the Bedford Rascal and the very fast 1.9 Peugeot 205 Diesel

Have you checked the fuel pump relay. When my pump was going weak it went through the relay, then kept blowing the fuse so I put a higher rated fuse in to stop it blowing whilst I got a new pump/sender unit...
