My 24 yr old son called me from jail , been in there 7 mths,, 2nd time in trouble ever, hasn't seen no one, not even his lawyer, this generation of lifestyle fake friends, got him down but he won't break down, he said momma" you were right about my fake ass friends, I've been set up and charged with a lot of charges I didn't commit, the law lies so much, they never tell the truth, the ones I'm guilty of I'll admit but not to the lies, cause of the help of my fake ass friends, he said I feel a black moon. rising so please look this song up and listen to it and you will understand and know I will always love you, this poor white good hearted country boy will never get a fair chance or be heard. I'm sorry momma for hurting you and not being there for you, like I should be, you are all that keeps me from taking my own life in here. Song reminds me so much of my husband. He will be coming home soon from prison. Drugs got him there, but hes trying. This song gives me peace but yet makes me cry. For 20 years, I rode beside him through good and bad of jail, prison, and drugs. I raised the kids. Everything Struggle says in this song is what my husband says. Its always when they come home things seem to be ok. I will always love him no matter how good or bad things are !!!

dude i listened to like father like son and got goose bumps all lover. your music is inspirational in so many ways. my dad was an outlaw. he shot himself in a gun fight with the police while i was at my moms house. he always told me i didnt wanna be an outlaw. all ive done is get in trouble for the past few years this year im trying to change considering im only 16 and already got a record behind me. your music is helping me change. i look forward to one day maybe being in the same area as you. much respect thank you for making a change in music.

It was self defense 4 minor lacerations that's what the dr said.. 17 years with 13 suspended wtf.

My sons bestfriend (my son I didn’t birth) introduced me to this song, said it reminded me of his aunt (who was my bestfriend) who we lost 21 yrs ago in a cpl weeks, unfortunately 5 yrs ago Jordan took his life, now I have lyrics to this song on my arm in memory of them both 💔

My husband loves when I would sing this to him. Roger "Dale" Sexton the 2nd and I just got together July 7th 2017 we got married September 21 2017 and I found out I was pregnant October 2nd 2017. My husband was from Jacksonville Florida and he passed away May 10th 2018 and I had our son May 20th 2018. Struggle and Jelly Roll yals songs were our songs and we love yal music keeping it 1000
