Freddy's knowledge is worth millions. Still he would rather help others succeed than fill his own pockets. Few like this left in today's world, truly.

How is it these guys don't think to do these basic troubleshooting efforts on their own? They've been doing this for yrs at this site w/o any idea they should monitor the various steps in their process and check their sluice for level and its angle?

I know im not the greatest at math but they said 1.44 ounces worth around 2.5k in todays terms. 2,500 x 5 = 12,500 a week or 50,000 a month. Operating cost was around 1k a day, im assuming thats just his costs of fuel/etc not labor. So that leaves 7,500 a week in profit to split however, or 30,000 a month. Now im not sure how many guys it actually is taking to run this operation but it seems decent money just not get rich quick money?

Great work. Raw gold is not worth $3,000 dollars. This gold has to be refined into 24k boulion. That costs money. I would be supprised if a refiner would give $1500 for this amount.

You would think, dealing with gold that fine that adding a biodegradable soap into the run, to lower the water tension might pay off.

@@LD-mu4eg True they aren't getting that much to begin with, but we are talking about a couple of drops per gallon here... given the fineness of the gold, it might be worth a try.

If it's super fine gold held onto of the water by surface tensions then could they not divert the top cm or two of water off at the very end, send it off I to a barrel then then empties back into the cycle from the bottom. That way all the gold stays at the top of the barrel, eventually it would build up, maybe get one of those circular rotating separators that pulls the gold upwards off the surface. I'm sure there's options beside surficant.
