You are genuinely the best guitar teacher on KZfaq. I’ve learned more from your videos than anyone - and there are some incredibly gifted teachers on this website. Sean is great, but I love the structure and focus on lead playing that you have. Paul David’s is great with production value but you just absolutely kill it. Never Lost Pentatonic took things off the ground for me and stuff like this really takes that to the next level. Never give up man

Don't apologize for talking too much. I've learned as much from many a good talk as I have from hands-on lessons. The talking in many ways is actually more important. I listened to Warren Haynes talk about string bending and he talked twice as much as he played, and it was a stellar lesson.

Seriously, people. I. AM. NOT. KIDDING. After this lesson, I followed this pattern and like, WOW! Then, after strictly following the pattern robotically, I started deviating from it, but kept it in mind as I played, often coming back to it but not always. And NO KIDDING I was flowing over the neck to a beautiful Bb backing track, better and more melodic than ever before, Much better than ever before. I cut out a lot of frantic scale noodling, and found myself using the silence between notes more intentionally, allowing my phrasing to have it's space. Stich, you awakened something in me here - I am grateful!

I have been using the presenter's idea for a few days now and it is my opinion that his suggestion has improved my playing, maybe even taking it to a new level (while true in this case I dislike the term new level). I had a somewhat difficult time, and still am, with repeating the THEME I chose an octave higher, but I guess that is why they call it "practice". Does actually give me a new goal. Thanks Stitch!

WOW Ian what a great way to make you think and give you purpose every time you pick up the guitar and try to play over at 12 bar blues. Yes, opportunities to improvise, but with the purpose of creating and coming back to a solid and maybe quite simple melody. Really love it. Improvising and thinking at the same time.
