What I particularly love about this film is despite how unrealistic it is, it has so much emotional weight that almost feels real which is the moral of the story.

I only came here to watch Stuart’s fake dad eat the peanuts in the bowl (timestamp at 0:33 and 1:17) because I've yet to witness another piece of media that has made table peanuts look so delicious and satisfying.

I never noticed at first when watching this movie as a kid but now I see how you could tell Snowbell was behind Stuart leaving in this scene. Right when he’s getting picked up and has his face toward the camera, you can see him with a slight evil smirk. Clever, very clever.

It really doesn't matter who your parents are or how you were born or what your last name is. If someone loves you, that's all that matters. Really, all a last name is just a fire wall between families. Really, all a biological parent is just someone that you were born with. It is the love is what really matters.

Even though The Stouts are not Stuart's real parents it would've been nice to see more of them and maybe they become friends with the Littles.

I have all of the 4 Stuart little movies gathered cd with the animated masterpiece. There was a time in my early kid days where I used to watch these light movies too much. Those are the golden period. Stuart and that cat is is a good friend of George. I will definitely cherished such a good but , warm moments of my innocent days.

The feeling in this scene is that he's leaving forever - in reality of a situation like this, could Stuart still visit the Littles, still have them as part of his life, even if not his legal guardians or living with them? I've heard of cases where a parent gives a child up for adoption but still is present in their lives, one of my friends did so - gave up the child but would still be in some ways in the child's life. I don't see why this needs to be a complete either-or. I do know what was really going on here (these weren't his real parents) but I'm thinking of what was understood by Stuart and the Littles at this point in the movie.

The Little family is just being ridiculous about the whole Stuart's biological family. Even if the Stouts were Stuart's real parents or if Stuart did reunite with his biological parents doesn't mean that the Littles can't be Stuart's adoptive family. It also doesn't mean Stuart has to completely part with the Little family and never see them again because he can always come back to visit them espically during holidays. Also you can have two kinds of parents: your biological parents and your adoptive parents or stepparents.

Why? 12) Mice are Quadrupedal and Can NOT walk on 2 legs, How is this Possible? 13) The common mouse only lives for around 2 Years, is this whole debate even needed?

Those Stouts just had to come and ruin Stuart’s new life and happiness with The Littles. Stuart’s real home IS with The Littles and not with the phoney Stouts! (Though they were hired by Smokey on Snowbell’s behalf to have Stuart out of the picture, but at least Snowbell had a change of heart in the end)

First time seeing this clip at all, and I'm guessing these "biological parents" are actually the villains of this movie I've never seen. From the moment they arrived at the door and first started talking, I went "Yep they're the bad guys.".

Why did the Littles not ask the Stouts for proof that they are Stuart’s parents besides the fact that they are the same species? Why didn’t they check with the home?
