This is an absolutely brilliant interview by Maconie! Half Man Half Half Biscuit are simply one of the best things to come out of The Wirral. Utterly fantastic. Nigel Blackwell is a genius!

Quality also ' qual' way back from 86. One to another.. Fusion on stage of this...No one will capture this kind of sense or real magic.. Drunken mad man and loved every minute.. Got loads of fun and vinals, cds.. I believe there's a band in limerick by the name Half man half arsed.. X👍🎶🎶🙏😜🎸🚲🚷🤣

Thanks for uploading this Chris. You are an absolute gem. Notice that KZfaq have categorised this as Comedy, which I think Nigel would appreciate. Could have done with another 55 minutes or so.

Blackwell and the band deserve at least a two hour documentary. The man is a genious, but let's not forget the contribution of Carl, Neil, and Charlie.

And I've been thinking of when i met this man in ' 99 at a York gig with a cheque for merchandise and his hand written outstanding attention to fans.. Everyone fawns over devine comedy's neil hannon and jarvis cocker but hmhb are worth a million of both these bands. I hate that line in national express where hannon sings 'her arse is the size of a small country'. Lazy lazy nasty mean writing
