As I can’t seem to find where to ask, what’s the difference between this and the other dewalt model as far as car drying? Is it a big bump in performance from the cheaper model? What do you recommend

Hi, I'm living in Germany, and they sell the Blower DCMBL562N-XJ. Is that the same as DCBL722P1? And can I use the Drying Nozzle on the DCMBL562N-XJ?

Yes, the vehicle in this video is ceramic coated. We highly recommend using a hydrophobic coating when using the blower method to dry off a vehicle.

@@shadow13265 it's not worth it if your car isn't coated. I tried with a much more powerful blower and the water still sticks to the car. The reason it works at a car wash when you choose the "spot free rinse" option is because it isn't just water, it's adding a spray wax that causes the water to bead and fly off the car.

Blow drying is used for coated cars. It doesn't work on bare paint unless you add a spray wax to the water.

You can achieve the same thing with the regular nozzle, I don't see a need for this

Our Stubby Car Drying Nozzle is 16.5” shorter than the stock blower tube. The short length makes the blower easier to handle for this application of car drying and the soft, silicone tip protects the paints from accidental bumps. Many people find great value in our products but it’s not for everyone.

If you cut your stock nozzle then you just destroyed your stock nozzle. This lets you switch so that you can use your blower for multiple things Also cutting stock looks like crap. Ask me how I know 😂
