This is great! Glad I saw this while I was watching reviews of car dryers

Yep!!... That aint breaking for sh*t!! LMFAO! 😂 What a genuinely amazing product! I rate both intuitive design and confidence in your finished product too! I think I'll only need an Ego 530 for drying my car in all honesty, as it's not a very big car and after paint prep, the water runs off so quickly anyway. I'm curious though... Do you not offer a range of STUBBYs with a large elongated Fan shape, like the standard attachment that comes for the Ego 765? Something like that for the 530, with the rubberised edge protection trim would be pretty cool! I've not used one yet, but I assume it would guide water off car panels with a much greater degree of accuracy potentially? Genuinely interested/curious to hear your thoughts/feedback. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words! I experimented with different nozzle shapes and sizes early on, including a flat/fan shape, and a round nozzle performs the best.

How much air borne debris would you blow on to the paint with high velocity blowers?
@StubbyNozzleCo6 күн бұрын
This is a common question/concern. Unless you live in an extremely sandy environment, using a leaf blower to dry off your vehicle poses no risk to damaging your paint. Driving down the highway is exponentially more harmful, in comparison.

Are there micro water droplets left behind that wont get blown off? have a feeling if you use a leaf blower to dry your whole car your almost gonna need to towel dry the whole thing because of that..debating whether i want to go down that route..taking a small gauntlet and drying some spots isnt a big deal but doing the whole car over with a drying towel would defeat the purpose for me.

2 things, one, nice coating job :) second, wear ear protection while drying with the stubby, you'll end up holding it over your head to do the roof and thats way too close to your ears.

Just ordered the tube and the bucket stand to Hong Kong, it’s a set of gift for my detailer. He’s always working so hard and got issues with his joints so hopefully the blower won’t have him kneeing too much!

I have the Dewalt 60V blower, and I bought your stubby nozzle. I love the way yours ome off without tools as opposed to th oem nozzle that needs a screwdriver and is very awkward to do. If you were to make a full siize nozzle with your toolless release, I would be your first ustomer.

QUESTION: I have 3 Milwaukee M18 batteries but only the 5ah ones. Worried your testing of the Milwaukee single showed only 2.5 CFM compared to others about double or more than double that and therefore I believe the drying performance or speed of drying a vehicle will take double the time comparing to others in the 700CFM range. Would you buy a Milwaukee single or the Ego 765 with an extra battery since I have 3 vehicles to do at home. My vehicle is also NOT coated. Thanks. Fantastic testing! Did every conceivable test to help us choose what is right for us. Thanks

Thanks for the nice feedback! If I were you, I would buy the new Gen III Milwaukee 3017-20 that was recently released. It's more powerful and quieter than the Gen II Milwaukee 2724-20 single battery blower featured in this video. Ryobi seems like a great tools on paper but when tested the last thing you want is decreased performance as the battery life dwindles..starts off strong then the performance just gets worse and worse then the battery dies, no thanks. The consistency of the Milwaukee is worth the price.

I have the 765, after 3 months of usage is started turning off if I press the turbo button for too long. It has been serviced twice but the technician mentioned that I should not hold the turbo button fro long periods. Have you and anyone experienced this issue?
@StubbyNozzleCo27 күн бұрын
Personally, I haven’t had this issue and I use turbo mode 90% of the time. In fact, I make a product called the TurboClip that holds down the turbo button for you.

Bro as a major part of ergonomics you should have included WEIGHT with Battery attached.

I work for a utility company and bought one of these for the m18 blower i keep on the truck. Blower gets used to clean up the sidewalk and street after we’re done working, and the long factory nozzle just took up too much space when stored in the trucks tool cabinets with all the other tools. Threw this on and now the blower hangs off a magnetic hook from the top center of that cabinet, and i still have access to everything else that’s hanging on hooks inside the cabinet around it. Blower is still powerful enough to blow away dirt and sawdust, despite the nozzle being only a faction of its original length. Wouldnt wanna try to clean up my lawn using this, but it offers a good balance of space saving vs performance for my needs, where real estate inside the utility truck’s cabinets is limited. Also - this is great way to make cleaning out your dryer vents easier. Just run a cheap brush through the vent from inside the house, and when the brush is done pulling out all the big stuff, shove the blower nozzle into the vent and blow it out. So much easier with a short blower.

I will not be adding any more of my products to Amazon. Any product I start selling on Amazon immediately gets copied by companies in China. If you’re interested in a STUBBY nozzle, I would recommend you order directly from our website. We offer 10% off your first order and don’t charge sales tax so it’s cheaper than buying one on Amazon.
