Hi, great stubby add ons! Will definitely order ones I decide which platform to go…from ur experience which one is your top 2 base on 1. loudness and also which one has enough to get the job done on which our case is blowing off water. It doesn’t have to be the most powerful one . Thanks

In my opinion if you are invested in a battery line already then go with the same brand your batteries are all these companies make a good product nowadays, if money isn't the thing then go with the e-go, im invested in milwaukee so I went with that it might not be the most powerful one but it does the job and I've got batteries for it

We 100% agree witht what Chris said! If you're already invested in a particular battery platform (e.g. Milwaukee M18) just buy the blower for that brand. If you're not invested in a particular battery platform, go with EGO - the EGO 530 for value or the EGO 765 for the most power. Any blower that puts out at least 400 CFM of air will be able to dry a vehicle, especially if the vehicle is ceramic coated.

Milwaukee is noticeable louder than Makita. I prefer the handle on the Makita more. Both are good, but just dependent on which battery system you already have as others stated. If not, OG folks love EGO.

No offence but I have a corded WORX leaf blower I paid $64 for that has 600CFM output that dries my extended cab 8' bed truck with cap 10x faster than any microfiber Towle ever could. Just can't beat that performance at that price

No offense taken! Corded leaf definitely offer a better bang for your buck but we feel strongly that cordless leaf blowers (with our stubby nozzles) are the ideal tool for this application of vehicle drying.

Corded are by far the best performance/dollar. I was using a corded $80 Toro 730cfm which took about 25min beginning to end compared to the 7 mins it took to do it with this 450cfm Makita with the original nozzle. Cordless cost more up front and have lower performance but save time if you care about the car's paint I personally never let anything (such as a cable) touch the paint after a full correction so setting up, managing the cable and the tool at once, and packing up afterwards was too a big hassle and consumed way more time in comparison.

What is wrong with using the leaf blower fitting it comes with. Most leaf blowers have a control that can be used to dial the power down or up.

Faster to let it air dry on a hotter day in the shade lol. Blow drying an untreated car is more a water smearing mess than actually drying.

A waxed car will bead up the same as a coated car. I recommend Collenite 845.

I have the Makita 36v (18x2) and their band works perfect on the stock tubes... On that note I just ordered the nozzle/band and the Makita XBU03Z because I am so deep in the 18v system and the 18x2 chews through batteries.

Compressed air works much better to get all the water out from every crevice.

Compressed air is great for blasting water out of crevices but it’s poor at drying off large surfaces like the panels of a car. A cordless leaf blower is great at both of those and much easier to use when walking around a vehicle.

Yes, the vehicle shown in this video is ceramic coated - that's no secret. Most of our customers are car care enthusiasts or professional detailers who use some type of hydrophobic coating (e.g. ceramic, wax, topper, etc.). With that said, using a leaf blower to dry an uncoated vehicle will still work just fine. However, the process will be quicker and more effective with a hydrophobic coating.

This is an aftermarket attachment for a leaf blower that is not originally designed for stubby attachment. Honestly, if you can't find the tool needed to change nozzles over, and the 30 seconds it would take to do it, then this item is not for you.
