Try using a Wet Brush in the shower once you've applied your conditioner and not again afterwards. Also try applying your styling product(s) while your hair sopping wet.

That's because you are not supposed to brush your hair while its dry. Only brush it on wet hair or all you'll ever have is poofy frizzy hair
