STUCK FLAPS! United Boeing 737 goes around due to flap issue in Austin.

A United Boeing 737-900, performing flight UA-381 from Washington Dulles, DC to Austin, TX (USA), was on final approach to Austin's runway 36R when the crew initiated a go-around reporting a flaps issue and requesting delay vectors.
The aircraft climbed back to 3000 feet and entered a holding for about 30 minutes. The aircraft subsequently landed on the longest runway available, runway 36L, at a slightly higher than normal speed (165 knots over ground) and after landing requested emergency services to check their brakes.

infrared heat gun, gives the temp of the brakes.

I guess you just started looking at these type of incidents. Flaps issues are quite common. Nothing new or out of the norm here.
