The main guitarist is Angus Young, he wears a suit because it was his school uniform, also it was a F**k you, to his teacher who said he would amount to nothing. His sister sugested to wear it, because he didn’t know what to wear in his band, glad this has 0 dislikes.

PS Angus deserves every bit of the love he gets for what he does. But take a minute to give love to his brother Malcolm, who wrote and plays all the riffs. He's legendary. It's harder than it looks and he's one of the standard bearers. He also was the sanest one in the band and handled all the early business for them. RIP Malcolm Young, the heart of ACDC for 40+ years.

Mal inspired me as a guitarist and by extension my entire music career. He completely revolutionized what it means to play rhythm guitar in a band, and if weren't for him, AC/DC and the entire genre of rock and metal wouldn't be the same. Every once in a while I'll load up some old Accadacca tunes and pan hard over to Mal's side and just revel in his genius and vibe. RIP Mal. It's not the same without you.

Malcolm was indeed AC/DC's secret weapon. His rhythm guitar playing often kept thier songs grounded, providing the hook and through line while Angus was melting faces with his solos and Brian or Bon were belting out lyrics.

@@anniethenonnymouse Yet, the number of songs worth listening to has not. And when we're talking about one of the best-selling albums of all time ... Let's just say that although I didn't grow up around the turn of the 19th century, I grew up knowing Beethoven and a few of his singles regardless of the fact that he wasn't exactly in constant rotation around the house, let alone played at every sporting event for decades. On a lot of these channels they'll claim to have never even HEARD of the artist (Which one is Hootie?). I don't listen to hip-hop, but the huge artists - not just the Lil-of-the-week - eventually penetrate my body of knowledge even if I never listen to them. Some of the reax vids have actually had text on the thumbnail to the effect of, "Who IS MOZART!?" That speaks to lack of exposure to music in general - not that there are so many artists out there that a kid logically would never have gotten around to Mozart yet. But I applaud the earnest attempts to expand their knowledge. And, of course, there is a LOT of lying going on on various channels. I'm not saying it's going on here.

The guitarist is Angus Young (yes, he is, even now at 65 he's YOUNG!!), his brother is the other guitarist, he died a few years back. Angus wears the school uniform for one of two reasons: (a) he went to practice with the band, and often to local gigs, right after school so no time to change clothes, or (b) he deliberately wore those because he had no better clothes to wear (he started like when he was around 16-17, still in school!). Not sure which is the one but the image "stuck" and is thus since the mid-70s!!

I also thought his sister that told him to wear his old school costume, so a legion was born. It is extremely rare that a band would still create new music at such an old age. It's a shame you can't attend an ACDC concert anymore, they blew the roof off every time. Even the outdoor concerts, imagine 100,000 people on their feet, actively singing along, cheering the band, rocking out with everything they have, to every single song the band plays from start to finish. Few bands so consistently put out amazing music, and amazing concerts, for decades. This album came out after losing their first singer, as in he died as this album was getting started. The new singer, the one in this video, Brian Johnson, stepped right in and did fantastic. So this song, and this album, were the first tracks with the new singer. Hell of a band, legends one and all.

Bro, you've been listening to the greatest hits of the 80's and 70's. Some of the greatest musical hits of all time in quite possibly THE greatest era of music. You've heard them all before because they were so popular when they were created that they made their way to commercials, video games, sports events, shoot ACDC, and Guns and Roses play during EVERY Patriots game lmao most of them were put in your brain before you even knew what was going on around you!

"The suit" is, as others have mentioned, is a British school uniform. I went to primary school in Ayrshire Scotland in the '60s and wore a uniform, short pants and all, quite similar to what you see Angus Young wearing. The title "Back In Black" refers to the fact that the original lead singer, a bloke cried Bon Scott, had literally drunk himself to death. "Acute alcohol poisoning" and "death by misadventure" were listed on the official death certificate. The album was both a tribute to their lost friend and bandmate, and a statement of triumph over tragedy. They found a voice that is so similar to Bon's at times that the casual fan literally cannot tell which one is singing. The "other guitar player" is Malcom Young, the older brother of Angus. The bass player is Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd was behind the drum kit. "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" would be great song to do a reaction to.

Australian school uniform at the time though the band are almost all of Scottich descent.Back in Black is because the band reformed a few years after Bon died...Most common reason was drink driving.Official reason was heroin overdose rather than alcohol..Either way drink/drugs & motors dont mix.

AC/DC has that signature sound. You will ALWAYS know an AC/DC song, no matter when it was recorded, when it was 1975's High Voltage or 2020's Power Up. They have their sound, their style, their groove, and it's worked for almost 50 years. Still selling out stadiums around the world.

The song is about their old lead singer. He died of a overdose and AC/DC went on hiatus. They replaced the lead singer with the current one and Back in Black was the first single they released. The band was back, but in mourning...hence the title.

Angus Young. Angus Young is the guitar guy in the school girl uniform. It's a gag that stuck with the persona of AC/DC. Back in Black is paying homage to their dead original lead singer who passed away before Brian Johnson came to join them. The song is about not being beaten, never letting anything keep you down. Back in Black was the great return of AC/DC around 1981 after Bon Scott died Feb. 9th, 1980 (their original lead singer). This was Brian Johnson’s first album (current lead singer) with AC/DC. IMO, this track is their #1 signature song that most people would recognize. Listen to the original recording from 40 years ago. Brian’s vocal range was much better back then and the beat was even tighter. Keep up the great vids! I love watching you open your mind to music you wouldn’t normally listen to!! 😎

They are one of the bands that really care about their fans. They were devastated because of the tragedy at one of their concerts when they started the song Thunderstruck and the fans surged forward killing three people and injuring several others. They wanted to quit the show but were told not to because it might cause a riot and endanger more people so they pressed on but they visited the injured people at the hospital afterwards. When they are asked about that concert they fall apart every time. I think Angus refuses to talk about it. They truly love their followers always and do their best to put on a great show.
