This has been 3 years for me. I can see how much I’ve grown. I don’t know what I’m going to be doing or where I’m going but I do know it’s going to be mighty.

I love that you mentioned the image of the cleft in the rock, Alwyn! In 2016, my world fell apart. I clung tightly to Jesus and He gave me this recurring image of my kids and I in the cleft of a rock near the shore of a raging sea. This was a huge time of growing up in Him as He began to transition me spiritually from bondage into freedom. I believe I’m on the cusp of emerging from a very long wilderness season. Praise God!

This has shown up 3x on my feed, so I decided to give it a go. Praise God, this is for me! I've been trying to make changes in my life and the Holy Spirit has been actively revealing issues that need to be dealt with. He also reminds me to calm down & think logically at times when petty things are likely going to cause trouble, being a short-tempered person. Thank you Holy Spirit. You're indeed a helper and friend. And man! my husband leaves for a work trip for a whole month tomorrow... I'm already in isolation, keeping myself away from the world and here's another isolation period. I feel like this is the breakthrough isolation period. Holy Spirit has always directed me to the church I was to attend buti in recent years have I been in the wilderness. God has been healing me ,rebuking me ,and restoring me , preparing me. There has been much loneliness but I wouldn’t trade this time with the Lord.

This word spoke directly to me. Everything you were saying were thoughts and feelings I have had as this transition/wilderness seems to be lasting far longer than I originally thought. It has been difficult. I just had a dream a couple nights ago about fighting off lions and bears. I looked in scripture and saw David fought lions and bears and didn't know that was his training period to take down Goliath. Your word was spot on and I believe God is training me for what He has next. I'm thankful for this word and also for dreams! Thank you!

You'll only breakthrough from transitioning once you've learned and passed the lesson during transition. If you don't learn the period gets extended and you'll take and retake the same exam until you pass, no shortcuts you have to go through and come out refined as Gold ❤️

Hit the nail on the head. I told my good friend a few days ago I feel like a horse at the gate…like I’m that horse in the cage right before a big race but the door is not opening. God is doing a move in my life but I am in limbo waiting for more of the pieces to come together. I can already see the track and where I’m going but waiting for his release. Do it Lord!

Couldn't relate more to what you're saying! Connecting from Portugal, blown-away by your words. In my case, there's no circle, there's not one friend to whom I tell exactly what I'm going through. There are days that I have a hard time accepting this, I feel sad about it. I've been judged so many times to the point that I learned that they are not the right ones, so I choose silence. So, I walk alone, with God only. At times it's so so hard to not have someone to talk to...I'm hoping that after this transition, I will meet my tribe or at least somebody that I can truly be myself around. Hang in there, everyone!

Exactly myself and my son. I was exiled from my beloved island home....we needed to get out of a situation where we were...and have just moved...but it is not at all where we want to be...I was disappointed that I was not going back to the island - yet...we have indeed been separated from people that were not good for us...I have accepted that we are being kept under his wings and we will only be here for a very short time....my son regrets the move...and I knew already it was not where I wanted to be...but I believe, and have faith that God is behind the scenes preparing our home and us for when the time is exactly right. This spoke to me in so many ways (you read my book!), especially when you said "boot camp". I have told people that for the last five plus years I have been going through Special Ops Boot Camp (it was a very hard trial). Now, I'm resting, regrouping, and waiting for God to move me.

He who started the good work is bringing it to completion and I am at peace, not wanting to run ahead as it's exactly as you said. I hadn’t thought about the wilderness season as a transition season. It makes sense. Abba help me to grasp all that You have for me in this wilderness season and how important it is to the next phase of ministry for me.

I PRAISE the LORD for the transition time that He has given my wife and me. We are growing not only spiritually but we're growing closer to one another. HALLELUJAH. I love her more today than the day we were married. I now see her not only as my wife but now as my sister-in-Christ/prayer partner/ministry partner, etc.

This video appeared in my Utube recommendations. I have continually heard the word "transition" in my head for ~2 years now. I was a stay at home mom & wife. My husband left & my child started college all in the same year. I am alone 5 days a week now during the school year and ~ 3 days in the summer. Sometimes more. My calling as a parent & wife is not there to the extent that it used to be. It is very difficult to go from serving your family 24 hours a day to now being mostly alone. I definitely have felt lost & no sense of direction. And so much sadness. So I appreciate this video & I thank you for being faithful to what God has called you to do. God bless 🙂

I go to Rwanda in June and get to teach 600 kids about Discipleship. I see how He has led me to this place. He is so Faithful and intentional

So cool, Alwyn-a few years ago the Lord gave me a dream where I was swept up high upon a rock in the middle of the ocean; a craggy rock (the type of rock with clefts and where eagles can nest). He definitely showed me how he was separating and isolating me (especially because when I was swept up there, I had been swept up away from a group of people I was walking with). I feel like the Lord has been starting to push me out of my wilderness season of late (he's given me a slew of evangelistic divine appointments/assignments). I pray I complete these assignments in His perfect will and timing. God bless you!

Been in a transition phase for nearly 3 years now - it has been a time of exponential spiritual growth and coming to know what my gifts and calling are, and forming deep friendships of praying and worshipping God together. It's been a hard time of learning about my weaknesses and the spiritual bondage I was in without even realising, and finding healing from the past. I have heard God's voice more clearly and have become much more aware of His presence in the last few months.

Sheesshh this video came right on time. Thank you Jesus. Have been in this transition phase for almost 6 years and last week something was revealed which I believe God is signalling a move out of this phase. It's been really hard and an isolating road but I put my trust in Jesus.

Oh, this rings so true for me. He has moved me through so many cycles of lessons - like seeing in the spirit and other things! At first, when He moved to the next thing, I thought I'd done something wrong, and He was unhappy with my performance. As it turns out, I just learn quickly in this, too. Exactly my situation... it's like I got stuck halfway in the transition process, including a literal move across country (SA), isolated, small circle, half built house, basically no income. The image I got is of me with one foot on a rowing boat and one foot on a luxury ferry, whilst the waves crashing against the boats and underneath me, making it difficult for me to get onto the ferry... breakthrough. I've been going through this transition since my A levels (last high school exams in the UK) they were tough and completely through me off. I feel like I fit in but I'm still completely alone like I have friends but its just me yk. God is good and I've learnt so much . iIt's been nearly now and I think I know when I'm going to come out of it when I move to uni. But God has definitely removed people from my life, hopefully I'm learning enough in this time and I'm excited to get out but who knows what the Lord has in store
