I'm a kindergarten teacher and I'm crying so hard at this beautiful gesture. When your kids love you, it's the biggest achievement of your life.

He hasn't had a parade like this, but it's so heart warming to go places with him and have "His kids" come running up to him to say Hi Mr. Rob i miss you. my first grade teacher, Miss Enkie, in 1961, was an old woman, and the kindest teacher i had, up thru 10th grade...i will never forget her. the one year i was never in trouble, b/c why would i act out when the teacher made me feel respected. 63 years later and i often see her, sitting at her desk during milk and cookies, shaking her milk carton as if there were ice cubes in. Her memory is blessed.

I am crying tears of Joy and happiness at her being appreciated for her kindness.

My daughter's kindergarten teacher is like this. We gave our daughter the chance to miss school one day for a day of fun as a reward and she started to cry and said no because she would miss seeing her teacher.

Great story. They will never forget her. They already love going to school. I think that we all have that special teacher that made a difference in our lives.

I would love to do this for my teacher. But currently she isn’t doing well and she is in the hospital, she is an amazing teacher, doesn’t give homework (LOl), is genuinely nice, makes sure we are mentally stable, I really hope she is ok.

This warms my heart. The little one's next-door all had Birthday Parades come by over the spring and summer. The honking started down the lane. It was so much fun.
