I just went through proverbs three times by reading a chapter everyday since the day I broke up with my girlfriend. God has shown me many great things and taught me how to be disciplined throughout my youth.

Minju Lee Proverbs 3:1 and 2 charge us not to forget our father's instruction but to let our heart keep his commandments; for length of days and years of life and peace will they add to us. Here longevity and peace are related to honoring our parents. Verse 4 goes on to speak of our finding favor and a reputation for fine understanding in the sight of God and man. In verse 5 we are told to trust in Jehovah with all our heart and not to rely on our own understanding. We should not despise the chastening of Jehovah, nor be weary of His discipline; for whom Jehovah loves He disciplines (vv. 11-12). Verses 21 and 22 say, "My son, do not let them depart from your sight;/Keep sound wisdom and discretion;/And they will be life for your soul/And a graceful ornament for your neck."

Hello I'm 20 year old person today. I watched the whole of Proverbs Study 1 by Paul Washer 2 years ago. It's helped me so much in my walk with Christ as a new Christian in the beginning of the pandemic. God really uses people to help other people's faith grow! Praise the Lord!

Paul, I would like to thank you so very much for being painfully honest with how you present the Gospel. I am a 59 year old man who grew up in a 'Christian' family. I had asked Christ into my heart many times, as a young boy and as a young man. I was a product of the type of watered down 'seeker friendly' church that you have described. My mother still likes to tell the story of how I would 'ask Christ into my heart' so many times while growing up. Now, as I look back, I see that there was no follow-up. There was no Gospel teaching or discipleship to confirm that the Holy Spirit was indeed dwelling within me. There was no fruit. To keep this short, I just want to encourage you to keep on presenting the simple Gospel and keep letting the Holy Spirit lead the individual to the understanding of what it truly means to be saved. I appreciate you!!! I appreciate your knowledge and wisdom. I appreciate that you are willing to put it all on the line for the Truth. God Bless You!!! Joe

I second this completely. And Paul is the one that has brought me back to the simple truth of the gospel, the seriousness of sin, and the goodness of God. But it's a hard thing to convey to christian friends that you feel something is missing and that you find great growth in listening to someone like Paul Washer

I am 69 years old, a born again Christian but I am still learning. I just love Paul's style and presentation. It is slow, clearly and gently explained, giving time for thought and reflection. These may be aimed at children but I will certainly enjoy these lectures and I thank God that he has led me to them during this difficcult. I am sure that like many people I have too much time on my hands and I want to spend it doing something worthwhile.

Paul Washer even though I am 36 I am a fairly new believer (about 1 year) and trying to learn as much as I can so I appreciate this. Furthermore, my wife is still very much opposed to it and also mocks me all the time. Needless to say, it can get extremely difficult sometimes and I have failed a lot. I have 2 daughters as well, 9 and 3, and I am just trying to do teach them the best I can in light of all this. I have virtually no Christian friends as well which just adds to the difficulty. Also, many sins as soon as I became a believer just almost instantly were gone, but I have not been able to quit smoking. I have tried 3 times but still doing it. God is pulling me through though and it could be worse. Can you give me any advice during this spiritually tough time? Thank you Brother Paul!

Brother Paul... many many years ago I was a mess and was introduced to Charles Stanley. I still love him but then I went into a wilderness Period designed by God. I went into depression and one day I could hear God saying .” You can keep laying here or we can get to work.” I got up and opened my phone planning on looking at some sitcom on KZfaq and there you were. Had never heard of you so I know it was God! Been little over a year in this wilderness stage and I can feel it’s coming to an end and I don’t want it to because although it has been lonely yet I have been kept by God I am learning so much about God and His Word I don’t want to let go but I know I must to began doing the work He has planned for me. Thank you... I would start clapping and applauding but you might be talking to me! Lol Little humor .. a great sermon that is still needed today. Blessings

Most grown men that live in the worlds broadway should here this! I was 40 years old and on meth and heroine when I read Proverbs 1:7 and realized I'd been a fool all my life because I knew not of the true wisdom and instruction of the LORD. Shortly after, someone sent me a youtube video: "The most downloaded sermon ever" shortly after watching it for the 3rd time I passed through that "Narrow Gate" that Brother Paul so wonderfully expounded upon. It happened, I was regenerated after coming fully to the end of myself, my own understanding, broken in pieces crying uncontrollably in full conviction of my filthy sin. I cried for hours begging God to "take this pain from me", pain I created by living as a fool who did whatever I wanted to do. I was a fool who truly despised wisdom and instruction and the prosperity of fools (drug dealers) was destroying me. I Praise God for hearing the True Gospel that finally awoke me from my slumber! ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW AND I HAVE BEEN CLEAN OFF ALL DRUGS SINCE 2016. IT'S BEEN VERY COSTLY BECAUSE THE OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY AND ALL HAS BECOME NEW! The secular drug counseling did not work, only the conviction of the Holy Spirit healed me. It took the true preaching of a Holy Spirit filled man that God was speaking through to break me. )))))))PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!((((((( THANK YOU JESUS!!! AMEN and HOSANNA! Stay strong Brother Paul, God bless you, I love you!

I’m a 20 year old college student, but I came to true repentance when I was 16 . The Holy Spirit used your sermons to convict me. All glory be to God. I was wondering if you had a reading list for Christians to read alongside our daily studies in Scripture? I once read George Müller’s autobiography based on your recommendation and it was great. The BlueLetterBible website has a timeline, chronological order of the Bible. When reading the Bible in this manner, you'll read the actual story of God as it should be read. Imagine if the book Tom Sawyer was 1390 pages as is my Bible. And imagine if that book was all scrambled up? How long would it take for you to take 1390 pages and put them in order so that you could understand the book; the story? I assure you of this; it is very difficult to be a True Child of God if we do not understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And in order to understand the True Gospel, the Old Testament must be included in that Gospel. If the Gospel that you're being taught does not include the Old Testament, you have received a false Gospel, and as Paul says, any Gospel other than the one that he taught was null and void, but will in fact be the ticket that promises hell with Satan forever. We [must] know the full Mysterious Plan of God. Read Eph 3:1-13 followed by Eph 2:10-16, followed by Colossians 2:9-15, followed by Romans 2:26,28,29 and then Romans 6:6. Study with as many translations as you are capable; if I were to choose two translations, I would choose the NLT and the NKJV versions. Surprisingly, the NLT is written much like the NKJV using the same terminologies and is very easy to read, but it holds the doctrine proper to God. Those passage sets that I've provided above, if you master them and then expand upon them (with the entire Bible), your entire life will change in ways unimaginable. If you master these passage sets above, you will be amazed when you come upon Genesis 3:22-24, for you will now understand why Adam and Eve were banned from the Garden immediately after we find out from God Himself that if they had eaten from the Tree of Life, they would have lived forever. This will be your very first clue to understanding that Truly, God had a Holy Plan from the very beginning, where He wrote His Mysterious Plan upon Spiritual Tablets of Stone. All things were ordained, including your life, before the world was Created. God Created per His imagination and is currently making all things happen according to that Plan. God is Powerful; He is Almighty and He is the Great Orchestrator, fulfilling His Promises as each day goes by. Learn this Holy Plan and God will Transform you, Truly, for the first time in your life. We are all supposed to be sharing our Romans 12:2 story, but few do because very few understand that they are to be seeking Christ and that He would Circumcise our hearts, setting us free of the disabling Curse of Adam and Eve. The Entire Bible must pass through Colossians 2:9-15, therefore, there is no greater passage set for you to know; it is even greater than John 3:16, for John 3:16 tells us [Why] Christ was sent to earth, but Colossians 9-15 tells us exactly what His Holy Work is . . . the Circumcision of our hearts. This is the Work that Jesus came to fulfill, to reverse the disabling Curse of Adam and Eve. You MUST know Colossians 2:9-15. Promise me you will memorize these 7 verses, for there are none that are more important, for this Work of having our hearts Circumcised, this is the single most important event that we could ever hope for while living on this planet.

Also i really appreciate the comment under mine which basically states that they appreciate Pastor Paul for treating children & young people with respect, they have there own brains, we don't have to always treat them like a fetus.

Book of Proverbs shows us that we've been a fool from birth. All sin is foolish. Proverbs direct us to wisdom AND Christ is Wisdom. He is the word of God. The Perfect Revelation of God. Each time we look at Proverbs, we realize we've been a fool and we need Christ, the wisdom himself. Thank you brother Paul!

This is a wonderful teaching pointing to God and that we are to love and obey him. Disappointing that Paul Washer acquiesced with the government's control over the church and did not keep Church open. This was a change of heart because Paul Washer had taught years ago that nothing should control the church but Jesus Christ.

That's really good. I really love listening to his preaching.. Every month I read through the book of Proverbs, because it helps me in a lot of ways, and teaches me what I wouldn't if it were't the Bible.

This is indeed wonderful. I don't have any kids yet, but this is very helpful even to me as an adult, Sunday school teacher and future mother😁. May God be glorified in this. God bless you and your family.
