Watch Davide Salvadore demonstrate for his furnace working class, Creating and Using Murrine, based on a Muranese technique called tociar piere-the roll-up technique.
Davide Salvadore is from a family of Venetian glassworkers. In 1987, he and two partners founded the studio Campagnol e Salvadore, where he works as a glass master. Salvadore is also a founding member of Centro Studio Vetro, in Murano, a nonprofit association that aims to promote the culture and art of glass. www.cmog.org/bio/davide-salvadore

this video is six days old, that is not enough time for davide to travel from new York to murano and start the engraving.

I've seen a couple of his demonstrations but in this one he seems very rude and unhappy.
