I appreciate your discussion and in general the pre wrath position. You closed by stating that the words of the prophets, Peter and Paul align with Jesus on the timing of the day of the Lord. In fact one of the pre wrath scholars did a brilliant job refuting pre tribulation by showing the letters to the Thessalonians concerning the day of the Lord draws on the Olivet discourse of Jesus in its oral form. Paul relied on Jesus that the last trump follows after the great tribulation and before the wrath of God is poured out. But the pre wrath position does not align John`s trumpets with the Olivet discourse but will align the seals with the Olivet discourse. For me John has the wrath after the trumpets when the believers ascend to the clouds of heaven with Jesus sitting on the throne. Jesus does not descend until after the bride is in heaven. The time between the ascension of the bride and the descending on the white horse may be days months or up to a year. It commences with the sign of his coming splitting the heavens for all on earth to see in fear God`s glory and the sign remains for an extended time until God`s wrath is ended with Jesus descent and defeating all who resist him. I have attempted to modify and integrate both the pre wrath and post tribulation views.

The Day of the Lord is judgement day for the unbeliever. To the righteous Saint, that same day is known as Resurrection Day.

Noah’s flood had no affects on the heaven above. 2 Peter is not talking about Noah’s flood. It is referring to Genesis 1:2 when the Earth was laying in darkness and flooded with a deluge.
