Idk what I was expecting in regards to the kibble, the game literally pulled the car out of nowhere so kibble was inevitable

5:03 Firing arm wasn't changeable in "War for Cybertron" as opposed to "Fall of Cybertron" so it's accurate. Although this accuracy denies my longtime dream of firing 2 guns on 2 arms simultaneously.

Mine arrived yesterday and I absolutely love him despite the flaws. He's satisfyingly chonky, the transformation is really fun to keep flipping between and I don't mind the kibble hampering the posing because I'm just so happy to mess with him and finally have a WfC Barry. Objectively he's probably a 6-7/10 but personally he's 10/10. Love him even more than SSGE Prime.

This figure definitely has its problems, but he looks so good straight on. That black, grey, silver, and purple color scheme is so nice. I do wish they had used translucent plastic for the wheels and some of the other 'glowing' areas.

I really hope they re-tool this guy into a batmobile crossover because if they can turn sidewswipe into the delorean the can definetly turn barricade into the batmobile

Both of the reviews I've seen for this guy have the reviewer plugging in the neutron assault rifle upside down. But I also replayed the game within the last year. And it was one of my favorite weapons in the game. So I don't know how familiar the average collector is with how the in-game weapons look or are oriented.

High Noon Barricade takes inspiration from multiple other versions of Barricade, making him the best choice for incorporating multiple continuities into a collection. With this being the only figure of High Noon Barricade, I just HAD to pre-order one.

I love it's looks...It gives me TFP Vehicon vibes but in terms of functionality, it needed at least one more pass around the design table.

As a practicing toy customizer there are some glow in the dark pinks and can probably use some mixes to make purple and can achieve some incredibly unique finishes with such

Only problem with my Barricade is that he’s so dang tight in the joints. It’s funny: usually my problem with the deluxe studio series bots is that they are too loose in the joints, but for this guy it’s too tight. Heck I didn’t even think the head turned till I watched this review

I feel like that some of these designs were going to end up with posing limitations. In a game, you can have things clip through each other a bit. Not possible in real life.

This might be the first transformer I paint since it's lacking decals. Makes me want to play the games again

For a character that has so little, if any, pieces of the altome visible in the robot mode in the game it doesn't look all that bad, the kibble was soemthing that was inevitable, what bothers me is the articulation. Let him have the backpack, i don't mind them on my figures really, but man, let him at least have a 90° arm bend, anything under that is just criminal

He's chonkier than he was in the game... Also his display shows Iacon by the looks of it, when he was only playable on the first Trypticon Station. I guess they muddled Barricade with Breakdown.

So, considering this [gamer addition] is for the game versions of these characters, it should be a no-brainer for Hasbro to do the combaticons. Like Brawl was in WFC, so, he would be in this line, then once they get ot the FOC characters Hasbro can finish off the combaticons with Swindle, Blastoff, Vortex & Onslaught. Also by a show of 🖐, when Hasbro does FOC Optimus, which weapons should they give him, the Path-blaster, Glass-gass cannon or the gun he has in the concept art?

To be fair to these "designs," their all super big and chunky looking in the games, so I can forgive the articulation shortcomings, for the most part. They still look really awesome.

Man, talk about nostalgia! I loved War For Cybertron, great game! Loved when Barricade challenged Soundwave to a race. That level was great to play as Barricade, the ramps you jump over the trains with was so fun! Also, his alt mode looks like a futuristic Batmobile!

I could take or leave articulation on 99% of my transformers, long as it looks fine in both modes and transformation is fun, it's good enough for me. Alt mode is flawless, absolutely in love, and robot mode has some kibble issues but I've seen and tolerated worse, glad someone who didn't steal the toy finally got a review out for it for me to decide. My only complaint is the unacceptable use of ball joints. Hasbro, it's 2023, you were doing so good with universal joints, why did you go back to cheapo ball joints?! I'm still gonna get the toy but man, not looking forward to the ball joints popping off the sockets when you so much as breathe on them like every other ball joint v.v

I don't like the "arm replacement" gimmick. It's just weird that all the arm's mass just vanishes. Definitely should be bulkier weapons or less of the arm should be removed to achieve the effect.

Edit: Turns out the arm can plug into the gun slot on his back, can confirm since I am holding the figure as I type this. And I agree with the Batmobile comparison, especially with 'The Batman' animated version.

This guy is a heavy disappointment tbh. the alt mode I agree is fantastic, but the articulation is really, really bad for a 2023 figure and the kibble is excessive. Guess I'll be passing on all of wave one. (I prefer FOC Prime's look to WFC so if I get a "Gamer edition" prime it'll be that one when it releases)

MAN his posability is super disappointing. This sucks, I've been wanting a toy of this guy for 13 years, and he's not great. At least his transformation is kinda neat. Reminds me of Animated in a few ways. I can't help but feel like if that stupid backdrop wasn't taking up some of the budget, it could have gone into polishing him a bit more. Those have to go, I don't know a single person who keeps them.
